Re: Irrational Pet Peeves? List em here!

Kids songs in 2020-2021. Apparently all of the three little pigs survive. I grew up with the first two pigs being eaten after their shoddy buildings collapse. Also, it's apparently not "paddy cake paddy cake, bakers man", it's "pat a cake, pat a cake, baker's man" I'm 42 and these are the versions ...

Re: Overwhelmed and Landing Claw

I am no longer a Rules Team member but the following is from the Card Rulings section of the Advanced Rule Book: Overwhelmed This Interrupt is an all cards situation, so it will affect inactive cards as well (e.g., those using Landing Claw). However, inactive cards do not count towards either player...

Is that Japanese Vader a foil or non-foil?
This was also going to be my question. If it is the non-foil then it is worth serious money.

Re: Gemp: Post Rage quit complaints and Conduct complaints here

Wait, he timed out, then got angry at his opponent? Doesn't he know how the clocks on Gemp work? [emoji38] He felt like he would win in one more turn (which was unlikely) and that his opponent purposefully initiated two inconsequential battles just to run his clock down. He was ~20 minutes down on ...

Re: Heat One - Saturday 10AM CET - Pairings/Standings Thread

How did Kendall end up getting two byes? I would have thought that the first rule of assigning byes is that the same player cannot have the bye twice (especially with the same side). I believe that you are correct and that the bye should have gone to Grady. Fortunately this had no bearing on the ou...

Re: Obviously

Adding email authentication is basically one of our top priorities, but unfortunately it's not easy. But we're working on it. Not wishing to discourage the team from this but what would it achieve? I personally have 7 different e-mail accounts and could sign up for tens more should I want to. Phone...

Re: Death Star II Sites / Battlegrounds

Technically, DS2 Sectors (and also the Death Star: Trench site) are allowed to be battlegrounds, but it is extremely difficult to pull off. You are not allowed to deploy cards at those locations, so you cannot deploy Presence Of The Force there. You also could not move PotF there with Surprise. R2-...

I won the first game against Ryan with +15, conceeded the second one after realizing I had a second non-v Kuat Drive Yards in my list. Next time I only play such a format, when GEMP checks that crap. Really annoying.
We've all grown accustomed to GEMP enforcing the rules!!!

Re: Flattening the Curve

U guys on design should consider more official abbreviations going forward. The piloting icon and immune to alter icon, and /\ were a great addition years ago. OPG(once per game) would save card space and is something everyone knows what it stands for. IIRC, these icons do NOT save any card space a...

I lost both games :explode Game 1: Invasion v Rebel Strike Team I took a chance by flipping when he only had 5 cards in hand but 2 of them were Home One and Admiral Ackbar which cleared the Blockade Flagship. I cleared a few sites with high destinies and eventually set up a Battle Droid Pilot on Mau...
