Getting the Reset convo going

Hey fellas, I was surprised to see there hasn't been anything formally posted yet regarding the next upcoming reset. From what I have observed many players are mentioning it, and many top players have also mentioned the upcoming reset in various ways during chats/podcasts etc. but nothing has been p...

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

2/0 Sites that drain -1 or that opponent can't drain at (like boss nass chambers) . If we are using Twix 2-0s then there should be risk balancing the reward. The shields already protect them enough, I don't think we need added 'protected' 2-0 cards out there. Multiple sites in this set with this pr...

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

DS II Chasm Walkway - This hurts BHBM bad, especially if you can pull it. But it's a 2/2 site that they drain for -1 at and is a mobile site so multiple problems there (like the Rescue in the clouds card you see played ALL the time). And Jedi are Power +2? Perfect only site you need to pull to stic...

Re: Flattening the Curve

MKOS - The problem I see with it is that it has to control 2 battlegrounds, and the wonky non Tatooine battleground text to flip. If we override that with an effect that eliminates those needs then I think this objective is viable again. MBO - What if we just reduced down the damage from blowing up...

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

Echo what Chris said - the next window of time to get fresh eyes, (that haven't been looking at all the variations of the masterlist whether you're on DD or PT) is a GREAT thing, you guys are already seeing it from a perspective that people on the inside haven't been able to (Both PT and DD) - we'v...

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

Feedback for the Set: D&D thank you for all your hard work and same to play testers. I like a lot of the set but I'm going to focus on the ones I see issues with for feedback. D&D, as you know you have to have tough skin - it comes with your role. If you don't, then you can't be good at what you do ...

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

Excited that the full spoiler is out and looking forward to the changed meta and next many months as I think it'll be a lot of fun. Here are the cards I most liked in this set, and I'll follow it with my 'concerns' or reservations to give feedback to D&D since that is what they are looking for. Vos ...

Re: Flattening the Curve

How many people are actually playing: Hidden Base, DBO, City In the Clouds, Agents in the Court, Imperial Occupation, DS & LS Combat, My Kind of Scum, MBO, Rebel Strike Team, Rescue the Princess, Twin Suns? I can answer some of these: City in the Clouds/Twin Suns - These are demo decks that are mea...

Re: Flattening the Curve

Just on the combat thing - every single dark side player card I have (previous, current and potential future ones) is aimed at bringing this up to being tournament playable. However long that takes. This is great news, just to see Combat more relevant again would be awesome. One thought I had was r...

Re: Flattening the Curve

I don't think that's the case. I think there are multiple options for each side. What I want is a shakeup of tier 1 regularly. I want the meta to change. Things get stale not for me because it's 3 decks at the top, but because it's the same 3 decks at the top for a long time. If what is/isn't tier ...

Re: Flattening the Curve

No I think you are misunderstanding me. I think anyone who believes there should either be 1) a few top decks or 2) A lot of top decks, both feel that way because it would be the most fun. I think it'll be less fun with less decks at the top (#2 camp) and you think it'll be less fun with more decks...

Re: Flattening the Curve

Moreover, I also agree with Hunter that, from a competitive standpoint, even if we could do this, it would be a mistake to do so. Consider: if every deck was engineered by Design to have a 50/50 matchup against every other deck, what’s the point of trying to brew something new? Just to use cards no...

Re: Flattening the Curve

I wanted to chime in on the discussion about Tiers. Coffeepass did ask a similar question in another thread, to which I responded, but I’ll reiterate it here, in no small part because I don’t remember which thread that was. Let me lead with this: I largely agree with Hunter. Let me explain why. It’...

Re: Flattening the Curve

I'd be curious to hear from the current d&d members, in an official capacity, on how many decks they're targeting to be viable. Just a number (or small range) would be sufficient, unless you want to add commentary. 1-3? 3-5? 5+? Other? Who all is on D&D anyways? I'd be curious too to see their resp...

Re: Flattening the Curve

If that is the field, then 2 things. 1. That is a poorly designed field and we should look at why the meta has ended up that way. We should rethink our way of designing decks and the processes in place for them because we should not end up in a meta like that. The goal should be everything near the...

Re: Flattening the Curve

It should be obvious what objectives have had attention and haven’t. The proof is what are in the virtual sets and what isn’t. It is not a misleading statement because again the proof is what are in the virtual sets. There are a significant amount of cards not being used that are both decipher AND ...

Re: Flattening the Curve

There’s also some decipher objectives that in my opinion should be forever unplayable, or completely redone via virtual objective. Dbo and rtp come to mind I'd give it more hope then that, especially given they are non-existent now. If we balance them by buffing them but not to the point of making ...

Re: Flattening the Curve

It should be obvious what objectives have had attention and haven’t. The proof is what are in the virtual sets and what isn’t. That's why I asked the question. I don't think you know what is in the virtual sets because almost every single Decipher objective has a helper in the current virtual cards...
