Re: SWCCG history: Timeline of all releases

Didn't Germany have their own boxes of the 2-Player Games in English but they were made by a different company than Parker Brothers so that other company's names are on the boxes themselves? Or am I confusing that with the Japanese versions? There is a Waddington's version for the UK, not sure if t...

Re: Irrational Pet Peeves? List em here!

When you are trying to cross a busy street, and you successfully "time" a car passing you, a lot like in the old game Frogger. You attempt to cross, anticipating the speed of the oncoming car will safely pass you by, and you will successfully cross the street. THEN THE DRIVER STOPS IN FRONT OF YOU ...

More Facebook goodness. A Cloud City pack for $40 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/241542370497773 Also, anyone know anything about this seller? I was bidding it up, was around $1500 Canadian bucks, still well below what it was worth before the auction was pulled. I wonder if it sold offlin...

Re: Well I guess that was worth it! Facebook Marketplace find

Score #2 of the "I guess that was worth it!" thread: Saw a listing with just one photo, but it was interesting. Got a few more pictures and saw a couple things, so decided it was worth the chance if he would ship. Well, it became an ordeal, tons of messages, prodding, at one point I was sure he was ...

Re: WAY OVERPRICED eBay Auctions

Here is an interesting one on facebook. Best I can tell you might get 12 two-player Premiere decks (hopefully 6 pairs I guess) and one Premiere starter deck. $140 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/384054025918093/ https://scontent.fagc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/p720x720/119075277_32187791236...

Re: WAY OVERPRICED eBay Auctions

The seller has priced this card at a value they would be willing to sell at and not necessarily what the card is worth/would go for from a different seller. Doesn't that describe all of these auctions? I tend to think there is a difference between "this is something I know is rare, I don't necessar...

Not necessarily overpriced, but I have to say, this is certainly unique.

Re: Big Box of Cards in Indianapolis

Premiere has no set icon, but any expansions should have a little icon on the upper right side of the card below the destiny number so sorting by set would be the easiest start. https://blog.categoryonegames.com/star-wars-set-icons-basics-of-the-game/ After that, very generally, the most valuable ca...

Re: Trading! Mostly looking for DS2/Coruscant/Ref3 Premiums

Been a while since I've made a trade, bumping this up from the second page. I'm still looking to complete sets! Also willing to just buy (especially the remaining Coruscant and Ref3 Premiums) if that's easier for anyone. Also also, if anyone might be interested in modern hobby/Euro type board games ...

Re: Wanting to trade. Thanks for looking

Good luck with the trading! Just so you know (and certainly before you go paying anyone $100 for one), the DVDLOTS is maybe a $15-20 card, not $90-100. Lord Vader is creeping up some but is still probably $50+ at most, especially for player condition. If I get to sorting through stuff this weekend, ...

Re: Most Controversial Star Wars Opinions

Star Wars is better than Empire Strikes Back. ESB is the best possible outcome for a story that doesn't need a sequel (see Matrix Reloaded for a worst possible outcome), but it still needs the resolution that is given in RotJ to be a complete story so the two are inseparable plot-wise and RotJ is ob...

Re: WAY OVERPRICED eBay Auctions

In a similar vein, I'm sure several people noticed the Reflections Gold cards that sold for asking BIN prices. Hard to call them overpriced because they are what they are and the supply is pretty limited. Young Skywalker https://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-CCG-Decipher-Reflections-Gold-Playtest-Card-...
