Re: Star Wars CCG 2.0
For those who thought about the context objectively, kudos and there is hope after all. Everyone else….. "Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth" - Albert Einstein (PhatalError your lack of reading comprehension skills is glaring, no way did I state an evil conspiracy is hap...

Re: Some Observations from a Past Player
FUNGINEER Start here. https://www.starwarsccg.org/volunteer/ It does look like we may need some clean-up and/or clarity on the various volunteer roles (including the advocates, who themselves are volunteers). I know it used to be laid out fairly clearly, and even in looking for that I'm having some ...

Re: Some Observations from a Past Player
Thanks for making my point. Just a bunch of old guys named ‘Advocates’. Who does what in the PC’s history? No clear structure. This is a typical response from someone who has authority questioned. Shut it down rather than discuss it. You see this a lot around here and also crickets from the ‘Advoca...

Star Wars CCG 2.0
Star Wars CCG 2.0 People have asked for a more thorough elaboration on some comments and issues I have brought up, so here you go. History repeats itself, unless said history is studied. Lets look into the history of the game to where we stand today in 2020 going into 2021. 1995 - 2001 The game was ...

Re: Some Observations from a Past Player
Hello. I believe your answer or the insight you seek regarding the direction of the game is rooted in the history of who is running the game. But, no one will tell you who has been in charge of what since 2002. All of the Advocates are listed as being Advocates. They're all cool people, even if we ...

Hello. I believe your answer or the insight you seek regarding the direction of the game is rooted in the history of who is running the game. But, no one will tell you who has been in charge of what since 2002. Which is insane to think about but not really...I would start there and things will becom...

Re: Flattening the Curve
They are working on one now. [emoji106] I was saying for it to be more of a regular thing. I honestly can't recall the last one. I think it was shortly after the reset. This should be something the PC does more often just to have a pulse on things. Just reading forums doesn't hit home with everythi...

Re: Flattening the Curve
It’s clear what my points are. You want to get into a semantics battle for reasons I have stated. It’s all in the thread. You are very defensive.
I voted. Other members of the community voted. There is a start.
Please tell others where they can vote clearly also.

Re: Flattening the Curve
I am not sure why the compass points to what Disney is doing vs what the community would like / needs. This sure sounds like speaking for the community to me. :??? Really? The statement clearly states there is an unaccounted piece of data - do you have it? Nitpicking semantics is a typical tactic f...

Nitpicking doesn’t take away from the points I have mentioned, unless you want them too. Did I say I speak for everyone - clearly I didn’t but then let me know who does. 6 years plus is definitely taking your time...

Re: Flattening the Curve
I think what the_emp and bbutter were getting at is that it feels like there aren't helpers for all the decks, just the near-top decks. Ok I watched Gogolens twitch so I'm just going to talk about the new spoiler set 13 cards here to give present day examples. For instance, HITCO is already pretty ...

Re: Flattening the Curve
It should be obvious what objectives have had attention and haven’t. The proof is what are in the virtual sets and what isn’t. It is not a misleading statement because again the proof is what are in the virtual sets. There are a significant amount of cards not being used that are both decipher AND ...

Re: Flattening the Curve
Ok - but we are on set 13 now 6 years after the reset and a lot of objectives haven’t had any attention at all. I am not sure why the compass points to what Disney is doing vs what the community would like / needs. We don’t need to do arts and crafts for hours when we have a lot of cards already mad...

Re: Flattening the Curve
Hey sac 987162625 - after looking at set 13 spoilers I noticed the focus was on new objectives - again. What is your rationale to disregard a lot of objectives that already exist and let them fall further and further down the ladder rather then giving them some attention? Thanks in advance.

Re: Flattening the Curve
I don’t support hunters idea of only having just 3 decks for each side as being strongly competitive - or however he would like to dissect competitive or strongly and play the semantics game. More competitive decks in a large tournament = more fun. Doesn’t need to be 30 but there are a lot of object...

Re: iOS SWCCG App
Hello Thamashawk, I am working on a couple other projects at the moment, so my attention wouldn't solely be focused on this app, short of bug fixes. But down the line, we could start planning for version 2.0. Yes I probably should have put the app into context first. It's purpose is that of a rulebo...
