Re: A Sad Ending to a Great Man.

Another reminder that you should never take your time with your friends for granted. The world would be a much better place if it had more John Anderson's in it. In all the time I knew him, I can't think of one single thing he ever did that frustrated me. I can think of dozens of things he did that ...

Re: MN Playtesting/Casual Play

If you guys decide to get together, give me a heads up. I could even host if Lakeville isn't too far out of the way. Hard for me to get too fired up for the tournaments when I'm this rusty. Need to get some games in to get that momentum going and hard to do that these days without being a Rosemount ...

Re: 2015 Team Tournament

What's the team MN roster looking like? I'm somewhat on the fence, was curious what the headcount looks like.

Re: Lakeville Playtesting

I can't do it today. I'm in and out keeping the kids busy so my wife can finish on online grad school class. One of the next weekends perhaps?

Re: Lakeville Playtesting

Now that I'm all settled into the new place, I'd like to get in a few coffee table games. Who else is interested? I've got room to host. If you suggest a Sunday afternoon during football season, I'm cutting off a corner of your man card. Brady Sunday afternoon might be the best times for me, but I ...

Was really nice seeing everyone again. Mark did a great job as usual. Looking forward to the next time.

Re: Post-Reset Event

I was planning on some Friday arts and crafts time to get ready for Sunday. You're welcome to swing by and we can piece together an extra couple of decks.

Re: Post-Reset Event

I moved to Lakeville, so I'm still well south of you. The good news is I'm much closer to I-35, so it shortens things by about 10 minutes. I'll send you a PM with the new address.

If you can free up an evening to swing by and see the new house, I could certainly sleeve up some decks for you.

Re: Post-Reset Event

The biggest issue always seems to be venue. Who has the good connection with Legion that could lock in a weekend date for a larger group? December 6th seems as good a goal as any. I wouldn't mind having a smaller event before then to just dust off the cards a bit once the PC finally publishes a list...

Post-Reset Event

Let's have one. I have no idea where or when, but let's get the conversation rolling.

Re: Reset Event

A good number of people (6 or 7ish at last count) from here are heading to World's, so I think that's where the focus is at the moment. I'm hoping we get together and play in September, once the list is finalized.

Re: Bespin Super (star destroyer) Weekend Official Thread

I've taken a great deal of pride in avoiding twitter these last few years, but even I might finally sign up if we could put one together and keep a reasonable admin control on it (just use it for official local tournament announcements and reminders).

That is, if we've given up on skywriting.

Re: Bespin Super (star destroyer) Weekend Official Thread

What has been done in the past other than just posting it here? What other promotion did you want? I won't speak for the people who have done the promotion in the past, but one thing I'll point out is we've allowed our listserve to die. Now, there are more modern ways today than listserve's to do t...

Re: Bespin Super (star destroyer) Weekend Official Thread

Yes, I think I was. But, TBH, a lot of the "RSM guys" like Mitch and Charlie and aren't exactly kids anymore. I may be the only one, but I think of them more as MN players than RMS players. Jake ran a tight ship today (he TD'd all day, which helps move the pace along). I'm sure there's a little more...

Re: Bespin Super (star destroyer) Weekend Official Thread

Jake will have the exact count, but I'd put the over / under at 16 or so. Pretty good turnout. Charlie was 6-0, but Mitch (5-1) took him in the final confrontation.

Maddie,

I'll have the cards you need with me. You're welcome to borrow them for the day on Saturday.
