Re: GEMP Card Requests

Hello! I'm new to GEMP - I enjoy the open - non-V formats. I was looking for human shield to and Res Luk Ra'auf complete an Agents of the black sun / bounty hunter themed deck that runs a lot of retrieval and is grindy. No worries if it's not a high priority. Thanks for this awesome program! can't w...

Re: Hotel Details

I'm hoping that there will be a 2000 format... I know I would be interested in that, as well as a number of players from worcester/western mass. Can we get that added to the even list? anyone else with me on this?

Re: Tournament or Cube in MA?

I talked to the owner of AJ's gaming and he said that if we wanted to use AJ's as a venue we could set something up. Let me know if you'd like that, mr. pistone.

Re: Tournament or Cube in MA?

I'd be interested, I think there are 4 or 5 others from my group that would probably entertain the idea. There's a card shop locally here (AJ's gaming, in chicopee) that probably could host.

Sabaac - Winning double and R'kik D'nec

Couple quick questions: (see AR-7.1 on requirements for sabaac) R'kik d'nec, hero of the dune sea wins double at dune sea sabaac. Does this mean that only if your opponent loses and the stakes are present you take double the stakes? Or does it also mean you may cause both cards drawn for your oppone...

Re: Reflections II Question

I opened a ton of packs early on when it was first released and pulled an emperor palpatine and some other great death star II and endor rares. I don't recall what I've opened up recently, I don't think anything hugely significant from either of those sets.

Hey, does anyone know if you can pull endor and death star II cards in a pack of reflections II besides the foils and japanese cards? on the back of the pack it just mentions random cards from the star wars universe...

Re: Collecting Sealed Product

I have been collecting boxes for over a year now, from almost every set. I collect to share the packs with my friends. We have a group of about 10 people who are at various stages in their collecting, from having near complete collections, to barely any cards at all. Its for this reason I've been av...

Re: MA, massachusetts players!!!??...?

Yeah, the Episode 1 draft is the most expensive one we'll ever do. typically we shoot for about $50. the amount of cards required to draft a fairly competative deck, from what we've found is about 300. The empire strikes back tournament will be about $60 per person... we could always do a really che...

Re: 2009 Worlds Schedule of Events

Thanks!

i'll practice the card part of the advice... I don't think I'll practice the prison rape part, but for those who would, my advice is to find a bowling pin and sit down on it as hard and fast as gravity will allow, lather, rinse, repeat.

Re: 2009 Worlds Schedule of Events

Hey guys, I've been reading this and since I just started checking the forums, and am new to the whole worlds tourney thing, I think i'm a little behind. Could someone answer these questions from a "noob": -What is squirreling? (i'm under the impression it's just taking a stack of randomly drafted c...

Re: MA, massachusetts players!!!??...?

The episode 1 tournament is probably going to be atleast $115 for entry as the cards are so expensive. We play mostly for fun, and then buy a couple packs of reflections II or III for whoever takes first place, and usually give out some other packs to everyone else. Hoobs and I have been trying to f...

Re: MA, massachusetts players!!!??...?

North of Boston, South of Lowell. I don't do that virtual stuff, though. That's refreshing! we're not huge fans of the virtual sets either. I appreciate the PC and their efforts to keep this great CCG alive. I'm one of the 5 hoobs was talking about... We'd love to add more to our numbers and even h...
