Re: Favorite Star Wars Novels that are not the Thrawn Trilogy

All the x-wing novels, but especially the ones written by Aaron Allston. Here's the right answer above. Traitor from NJO was good along with Star by Star. Almost makes me want to pull the NJO novels off the shelf again. Could not agree more! I especially liked it how Allston took the ridiculous cha...

Re: Sequel Trilogy poll

Dang, I think EP VII was where the sequel trilogy went wrong. No matter if you liked the prequels or not, anyone has to admit that they were really different from the OT. With EP VII however, everything was quickly set to "same old": Small group of rebels vs. overwhelming empire, with different name...

Chris, thank you for your service! You are entirely to blame for so many good times this community had that it's not even funny. All the best to you, and your family.

Re: REVERT - The Reset/Redux/Revolution/Reedit Discussion

I was not around before the Reset, came back after it and enjoyed the game very much. But now there is too much stuff around that is good (in a competitive sense) but makes the game feel stale (TRM in its current state, Map, ROps (V)). Legend is way over the top in what it does. I do not enjoy havin...

Uncertain Is The Future vs. The Republic No Longer Functions

I do not know if I found a gemp bug or if I did not understand the rules correctly for this: https://www.starwarsccg.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/card-search/cards/starwars/ReflectionsII-Dark/large/sense&uncertainisthefuture.gif https://www.starwarsccg.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/card-search/cards/starwa...

Re: Jedi Business Senate Pile

I'd forgo Squassin and use cheap capitals, too (Chandrila text), otherwise the deck tries to do too much. You need to get 2 Senators to the Senate ASAP if you want the Hovercam, so starting Strike Planning for a guaranteed Mon Mothma / Chandrila and maybe a General Leia pull might be a good idea. Ma...

Re: Hyperdrive Ideas

I wouldn't run JB in non-Hyperdrive as you loose the BIG advantage of running Luke. It's mostly a fun deck, anyway. As for Hyperdrive's flip side: It's bonkers, but whenever I had 4 cards on Credits, I had already won. I'm curious as to the game plan vs. trooper IE. Very often they will be spread ou...

Re: Hyperdrive Ideas

Yeah sorry, Ayla is certainly playable in regular Hyperdrive, just not with Jedi Business. Although I love the deck I agree that it's just a tad too slow for many dark decks because you cannot afford to deploy someone turn 1 most of the time. The location pull of Tatooine system only helps from turn...

Re: Hyperdrive Ideas

Weird as it is, you cannot deploy Ayla in Hyperdrive since she does not have an EPI icon. One of the reasons NOT to run clones. Hyperdrive has such a degenerate flip side, but that 3/2 starting activation ratio is just so bad. Trooper IE unload 10+ damage before you get in the first drain at the Jun...

Re: Star Wars or The Game Itself?

I consider myself among the people who started because of the game being Star Wars and stay with the game DESPITE being Star Wars (from 2015 on), because of the game itself and the people who play and make it.

Re: Deck import/export breaks deck builder

I sent you the two decks I used to brick my account with. Thanks for looking into this. BTW, any chance of unbricking my account, or do I just have to create a new one?

Re: GEMP exported deck list, where?

I also have this issue on semi-recent browsers, but I was able to export decks on the ancient Opera 12.17. I could import decks just fine, but they broke the deck database in my GEMP account, so I filed a bug: viewtopic.php?f=1105&t=71152

Re: Deck import/export breaks deck builder

For * and giggles I registered a new account, which was then able to create and save decks as usual, so it's really not my browsers gone nuts but the GEMP account being screwed up.

Deck import/export breaks deck builder

Am I the only one who has problems with the new deck import/export feature? I never got the export to work on a semi-recent browser (i.e. Firefox 60+, Midori 0.6), but it worked on the ancient Opera 12.17. The more recent browsers displayed the "Do you REALLY want to export" window, but no file choo...

Sabacc if you cannot flip them back. It's nice to play Sabacc with the destinies they set up for EPP Dengar, Hidden Weapons etc.

Re: GEMP Feature Requests

When drawing destiny, I would like the message window to display the draw, all modifiers and the value for comparing when I have the possibility of taking an action (such as modifying the destiny etc.). Sometimes it's hard to decide whether to interact because you have to manually keep track of all ...
