Re: Morally grey characters
Trooper Jerrol Blendin has a "bribe" mechanic which is cool. But also makes him less playable... I think Decipher's attempt to have Rebels, Imperials, and Aliens in Premiere was their solution to characters with an ambivalent allegiance

Re: Collecting Encyclopedia Updated with Eye-Popping Enhancements
Not sure if these are considered Easter eggs, but I always loved the reference: •Leia Of Alderaan Lore: The face that launched a thousand starships. -> Helen of Troy was the face that launched a thousand ships Furry Fury Lore: 'All right, don't lose your temper.' Hoth hath no fury like a Wookiee sco...

Halfway through the interview and loving it. Really great to get Jerry's perspective on the game and its design. "verb" and "noun" cards

Re: SW:CCG Intro Game Materials
Under normal circumstances, utilizing these great materials in live get-togethers would be good growth for the game. But for the time being, and since Gemp recently implemented a 40-card deck format, I wonder if it'd be valuable for the team to expand the decklists to 40 cards and perhaps family me...

Re: SW:CCG Intro Game Materials
Hey, just wanted to chime in that I used this to teach a friend who is brand-new to the game and it was very effective. Thanks for creating it! I was able to get Adobe PDF reader to print it to the correct scale on 6 photo sheets, cut them out, then run them through a laminating machine so they las...

Re: SW:CCG Intro Game Materials
Just wanted to pop in and say that my 7yo son and I have had a great time learning and playing with these decks. They do a nice job getting you into the action right from the start with some recognizable characters that make it really fun. Thanks for the effort putting them together and sharing! Go...

Re: Flagship operations
Sense & Uncertain is a way for DS to cycle cards, but you'd want a way to get cards into hand first to maximize on the number of cards you recycle. TRV made use of this with Emp getting FL every turn and Crush getting 2 cards as well, so you have a net gain of 3 (4 uploaded, Sense Combo played from ...

Re: Flagship operations
It was earlier (before set 6 I think?) where there was a flagship ops deck contest. Can anyone dig that up? I had trouble finding it and gave up after a while. My entry for that Deckbuilding contest. Ended 2nd place 8> (Deep Space Nines was 1st, using destiny 9 squadrons) My deck: returning DSAS ba...

Re: Online Endor League? September 16 - Nov 30
Thanks for taking the initiative, Wirfs! I'm in, not sure if I can be there all of those. Is the idea just OCS style for all of those periods, or will we do alternate formats (eg. Prem-Ref2, OTSD sealed, does Gemp support a Cube format?). Other ideas could be mini-MPC (if we get exactly 8 or 16 play...

Re: Statement Regarding The European Championship
Well said Tamas, this decision has not been an easy one to make. While we understand this is a blow to our Community to lose its main event, everyones safely is paramount. Next year will be bigger and better if not for playing SWCCG again IRL, I think more for the social side where we all get to me...

Re: Preparing to Teach New Players - Suggestions Welcome
I admit I have not tried this method yet, but it looked very appealing and think it would be worth exploring at the least. https://forum.starwarsccg.org/viewtopic.php?f=332&t=69241 I second this, really helpful to explain especially with the walk through. Plus games last a bit shorter so more reps ...
