Re: Irrational Pet Peeves? List em here!
Primanti's was really good when I had it at the original location(or one of the original locations?) where it felt like an old timey deli. The one I went to that felt like a sports bar was terrible. The O is the best restaurant I've been to in Pittsburgh. My wife and I are going to do a road trip t...

Re: WandaVision
First 2 episodes were pretty interesting. I woke up at 4am to watch them in order to avoid spoilers. If it were just a 1950s style sitcom with these 2, I would be on board, which is good, because they really leaned into that bit in these first two episodes. I'm about 95% sure I know what the explana...

Re: Favorite Star Wars Books
Update on Light of the Jedi. The book is really good. I'm about 3/4 of the way through, and it's all the things people say they liked about the Old Republic Era, but feels more Star Warsy without feeling repetitive. Not to mention, it's actually well written. It's hard to compare to books that I rea...

Re: Favorite Star Wars Books
I've really enjoyed all the "Tales" short story collections. Just reread them after about 15 years and it's cool too see how much SWCCG lore was based on them. One thing I forgot to note, the Dannik Jerriko stories though are atrocious. The way I get through them is to pretend he is scooby doo and ...

Re: Favorite Star Wars Books
Is it safe to say that everyone hated Chuck Wendig's Aftermath novels? No. While I have a problem with the third person, present tense writing style...I really enjoy the story . The first novel takes a bit to get through, but Life Debt and Empire's End are really, really good. I also think they've ...

He served his time before and came back. Not every ban is permanent, we aren't in the business of perma-banning people from our community willy nilly. This recent behavior is inappropriate but not ban worthy based on what I've seen. I recommend just avoiding players you don't enjoy playing against ...

Re: Buggy Revert function?
Normally what happens is the reverting player reverts to just after their last deploy phase action. Then the opponent passes and the phase moves. I would recommend reverting to just BEFORE one of your actions, instead of just after. How would you know? You've never approved a revert before. I guess...

"Jawas in Love" Jawa Format League 2/1-2/14
Love is in the air, and we have a new Jawa format. What better time for to neglect your significant other and play Star Wars cards? More details to come, but here's what I have so far. -Not sure how many games, but may make it unlimited or an arbitrarily high number -Player with most points wins a d...

Re: New official era names
First off, I don't think the goal of an open format should be to have everything from all works available at the same time. Just like we haven't gone back to the Legends stuff from Legacy, I doubt the next reset will focus on Rebels, Rogue One, Solo, etc. My hope is that eventually there's enough co...
