Re: 2.0

Then I'm honestly confused as to why We Wish To Board At Once was left alone. You list WMAOP with WESA and Speak. So I made the logical assumption it was about twix pulling. You mention the maint cards, Ref 3 Leia and EPP Maul. Nothing about WWTBAO. I actually forgot that card even existed. It's ve...

Re: 2.0

Maybe something based on an Advisor of some kind? Since it advises you which Effect to get from your deck? The best one I can think of is Bib Fortuna. I mean sure but you can't put that one back for free looking for podrace card. I don't think anyone is upset about that text, if they were, then WWT...

Re: 2.0

I think having an overarching goal is really good for a reset. Last time it was a "100 card base set no changes, and a follow up with some changes." This time, I'd like to see a goal of scaling things back as much as possible and creating a base set with the goal of being "minimalist" but balanced....

Re: GEMP Feature Requests

No faith in the sheriff not to start leagues that would conflict with Texas Mini worlds? Perfect faith. :-D I was actually thinking you should be in charge and have people to help you. Gemp is continually playing a larger role and its also capable of doing a lot of stuff that we can't do irl.

Re: GEMP Feature Requests

-Adjust/rotate the sealed options (really this was requested 4-5 times, just all by Stephe) - I'll leave it to Stephe to see what he wants to pick. Not sure on coding process for sealed. -Highlander/Pauper formats - This is creating a format. Pauper might have to be built by hand if cards are not c...

Re: Alt format proposal: A Revamp of Classic on GEMP

So Watch your step but without Dash and the Outrider and Mirax and the skate? The list is by no means a final product. But wys is a very strong objective. Maybe it needs either of those, or wedge v and the skate? Or maybe it’s already on part with everything else? I’d imagine if people were interes...

Alt format proposal: A Revamp of Classic on GEMP

So with the availability of GEMP, I think we have a lot more of an ability to explore different formats than ever before. We don't need to sleeve up cards, deckbuilders can do a lot of the work telling us what is legal, and GEMP means we don't need to leave our homes to find people to play whatever ...

Re: GEMP Feature Requests

I understand that once you've used GEMP for a while you know where and what everything is. But after not looking at it for a few years it was actually somewhat confusing coming back to it. I'm sure NARP's have a similar experience. I just wanted to give some feedback on my navigation experience and ...

Re: Decktech Archives

Grady only recovered 2 out of 6 I’m amazed and stoked that there may be two! Is there a searchable feature on your website? Nope! It’s feasible to add with how things are set up, but I didn’t have immediate success in my first attempt. You’ll just have to search the titles, authors and dates. (I di...

It used to go through 2011ish. Looks like it stops loading now around 2002, unless dates aren't how it is organizing things again.
That’s consistent with the deck section.

I think everything after that changed to a different folder, and has a different file structure.

Re: Decktech Archives

Ok, updated with another 1,000 TRs added putting the total up to 1,400. That should be all the ones I recovered. Please look through and let me know if you see anything wrong. Think yours should be in here now. I definitely saw a few in there. Sorry, I think there may have only been 1 or 2 recovered...

Re: Decktech Archives

There's like another 1,000 for me to dig out.

They'll be tougher to figure out though since they are missing a lot of the unique html tags that made the others easier to parse out.

Re: Decktech Archives

I skimmed through them last night, and noticed not a single one of my TR's were saved. (I do however have an archive link to my old page, and can send them to whoever ends up organizing the tournament reports) Some great reading material, and fond memories in there. I read one report where I was th...

Re: Stephe's Dream Reset

I think WMAOP banning would be rough though. DS does need an effect puller. Plus with LS still having access to Speak, WMAOP I think should be left. Wesa is a terribly designed card though and I'd be happy to see it go or changed. I think the freely cycled destiny 5 and the easily pulled twix is a ...

Stephe's Dream Reset

I'm purposefully putting this into the Dream Card section to avoid slamming a negative post into the game since I know a Reset is still a ways away. But, I figured it would be good to document somewhere my ideas of where I think the game should go after the reset, whenever that happens. My personal ...

Re: Decktech Archives

There’s over 1,000 more TR’s still to be gleaned from the archived data. Yea at this point, we just need to dump them into a server somewhere just to store that information before it is lost. Then we can figure out the best way to host and present it. I have it in a branch in github. (I’ll move a z...

Re: Decktech Archives

TRs will be a huge thing to save and store. There is so much history in them. Those are what I miss the most. I currently have 136 of them from 2000-2009. Even simply adding a legacy tournament report subforum, or years to the tournament reports sub forum would be sufficient to get those lists up. ...

Re: Decktech Archives

I just added a rough pass at the deck lists. You can page through every deck posted from 1999-2002: www.StephenSkilton.com/decktech_archives There’s over 4,000 decks there, but it still needs styling and filters (it’ll be able to filter by date, LS/DS, Author, text search, etc) This stuff takes a wh...
