Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

The MKOS thread has brought up that topic which I think is worth mentioning here. Isnt the Help Me Obi combo doing too much? Help me v saw limited use because its game text wasnt that ubiquitous - which is fine, because excluding characters from battle shouldnt be that easy I suppose. And I reckon ...

Re: 2020 Player Survey - Submit by 11/6

Long, rambling response submitted. Appreciate this actually being done for reals. One section I thought could be expanded was around the content stuff - not just prequel/sequel/standalones, but themes that we as a community like from those things (clones, turning Anakin, etc), which could inform fut...

In which tier do you see this deck starting? Is it instantly competitive at the highest levels?
If piloted well, it’s definitely at least 1.5, it can do decent damage, and is quite resilient.

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

Would that cause any conflict (coding wise) since the JCC is an ep1 location and starts with the objective? The objective does all its stuff first, then the starting interrupt completes - Twilight won't care about what's already on the table, just what gets played from that point on. There have bee...

Re: Set 13 Full Spoiler List

It can also cancel holograms at the holosite, so there may be an uptick in the use of that site as it's easy to pull and now easy to protect - no need to battle, just let LS spend 5, and cancel the projection they deployed there.

Re: Flattening the Curve

I am not sure why the compass points to what Disney is doing vs what the community would like / needs. This sure sounds like speaking for the community to me. :??? It would be nice to have a new survey so the PC would have this data. I think we need to find out how many people want a survey first ....

By "elite players", do you actually mean: anybody that is willing to volunteer a little bit of their time?
I'm an elite player? That's cool.

Re: Flattening the Curve

Just on the combat thing - every single dark side player card I have (previous, current and potential future ones) is aimed at bringing this up to being tournament playable. However long that takes.

Re: Set 13

There’s at least one negative outcome - It’s possible (though unlikely) that if DS only has permanent pilots, LS has to cancel one of their own characters game texts (unless it’s only HCF, in which case I guess nothing happens).

Re: I’ve been looking forward to this (set 13 spoiler).

im not sure i like that part. making a one man legend objective doesn't seem like a step in the right direction considering all the cancel/redraw stuff that's already in the game. maybe limit the battle part to "with a jedi", so its more thematic and not so crazy. tracking for both sides is startin...

Re: The Inquisitor Pod! (spoilers)

The cards stay on the character, but the text cancelling ends. A character can have multiple hatred cards stacked on them (so the effect can hit them again on subsequent turns). They go to the lost pile when the character they’re on leaves the table.

Why the two references to qui-gon being alone? You want to make sure he is really lonely? :)
Probably just in case cards get added to the battle after initiation - or if dudes get removed, looks like his text turns on as soon as Dr E removes other characters, but only at that point.

Grumpy Luke: "[...] may cancel an opponent's just drawn destiny to cause a re-draw." Darth Tyranus: "[...] may cancel and redraw an opponent's just drawn destiny." I take it that part is also just worded incorrectly? It's usually worded as "may cancel ... to cause a re-draw". As it is now, it could be interpreted to mean that you get to re-draw the canceled destiny.
The wording is the same as on grumpy Luke, so should be fine.
