Re: Flattening the Curve
TRM doesn't seem that bad without Wokling to me. If you deploy Farm, a DB, and one of the JCC/BNC, you're still starting your second turn with 1-2 icons and 2-4 cards more than HITCO. You'll still have more outs for turn 1 RitC (V) with the ability to play it after pulls and a chance to draw into o...

Re: Schedule & Rules
I won both games against pmyers, the first one by +3, the second one by +25. The second one was played today though, so after the deadline, which was my fault since we wanted to play both yesterday evening but something important came up on my side and we had to delay the second game. I add the game...
Re: Spellfire
I heard of Spellfire. Remember playing it a few times during the heydays of trading card games when there were like 30 different games on the market at least.
I remember vaguely something about deplyoing your cards hidden in a pyramid form?

Re: Bright Hope doesn't draw substract destiny
I had Bright Hope and Tantive in a Battle and wanted to draw the subtract destiny, but it didn't work. https://gemp.starwarsccg.org/gemp-swccg/game.html?replayId=euroemp$qz023tovbr757w1k Clicked on it during the whole battle, but it didn't give me the option to do something. Not a bug. First of all...

Re: Corona Cup Teams
I don’t think we need decklists, at least I can’t find anything about decklists being required. Just the replay link so that complaints about illegal decks in the VR format can be reviewed.Baron Soontir Fel wrote: ↑September 28th, 2020, 5:51 amBy the way, until when do the teams have to hand in their deck lists?

Re: Translation please
Someone did a transcript followed by a translation in the comments, about 2 years ago?
You cant really lose much in translation if the text is as cringeworthy as this, but the german text rhymes a lot too and the english one does not.

Re: Corona Cup Teams
Please, when sending your teams, make sure that the sequence of players aligns with the formats... eg. the first name will in open, the second in jawa, etc. Let me know, if i need to update the lists. In this case our team is: 1. zlorfik (Open) 2. Silverglen (Jawa) 3. MatthewHT (Virtual) Normally I...

Re: Corona Cup 2020 - 1st-25th October 2020
No matter what the format finally will look like, here is your first team for the Corona Cup: Team "A German, an Englishman and a Canadian walk into a bar..." - Justin "Silverglen" Branch - Matthew "MatthewHT" Harrison-Trainor - Bastian "zlorfik" Winkelhaus We will decide on who plays what format as...

Re: Online Tournament Question - Discussion
Throwing out a vote for the first cut of worlds (after the giant 8 game swiss) being top 16 and have it be swiss, then cut to top 4 from there match play. Make it a day 1/2/3 thing (not necessarily on consecutive days, but how we used to have a 3 day event, make this the same. Large day 1, smaller ...

Re: Online Tournament Question - Discussion
The other downside to day 1 being a sat/sun affair (besides people not being able to play) is the strain it will put on people to choose to play or do coverage. One of the biggest aspects of TMW was how many volunteers we had to do streaming. We had so many people, it was at times hard to keep up w...

Re: 2020 OCS Event Details
Last year the argument was that people were busy with (preparation for) worlds and therefor wanted to it afterwards. That does not apply, so we can do this as soon or late as we want. I have no real preference. So far we always did the reveal on Holotheatre. So maybe make it next week or the week a...

Re: Janus Not adding to force drains
Janus adding is not optional, it is automatic.
I would assume there was something reducing the drain or canceling the bonus, like Menace Fades, but hard to say without a replay link.

Re: Online Tournament Question - Discussion
So you're proposing something similar to this (ignore dates, just as an example): Saturday 5 December - everyone plays games 1-4 swiss Sunday 6 December - everyone plays games 5-8 swiss Saturday 12 December - top 12/16/24 (or whatever, by SOS) play 4/6-games swiss Sunday 13 December - top-4/8 play ...
