Hm...
So it's been about a year since I've really been on the forums. I've been contemplating checking out what has happened over the past year. Anyone wanna give me the highlights? Who knows, I might even start playing again and be competent enough to play in Worlds, but I'm definitely going to need some...

Re: Why is the @starwarsccg.org twitter account virtually dormant?
I feel like you'd be hard pressed to find anyone else who even knows what Slack is, Discord is the standard for a reason. Creating an open invite link is very easy. Alas, doesn't really matter to me and the community is all already on Slack (well, the community that counts ;) ). Slack has a lot of ...

Re: Holodeck vs Gemp Deckbuilder
regarding gemp vs holodeck, I prefer holodeck mainly because it's easier to look at card game text in Holotable. You can either hover over the card, or if you select it, you can read the text. In gemp it's hard to read card titles or text unless you shift+click, which I find a bit more tedious than ...

Re: Holodeck vs Gemp Deckbuilder
swccgdb.com It’s in beta, though, and doesn’t seem to have any virtual cards. So seems more like a proof of concept. Wow. Nice. Who do I need to talk to, to help make this. I'm no coder, but if I need to monkeytype some data let me know. We have already cloned it and added virtual cards. However, i...

Re: Event Details- April 17th- 19th 2020
As always, if it's cheaper for people to fly into DC, BWI, or Philly let me know. Should be able to accommodate a day or two before/after as well (as long as you're not allergic to cats). I have a price alert for jfk and phl but might add dc and bwi to see where will be the best. Don't forget LGA (...

Re: Search function on main page?
Yeah, it may only be visible when logged in to Wordpress. After I get settled in Florida I'll look into adding a login link somewhere.

Re: Event Details- April 17th- 19th 2020
Looking at flights from Orlando to Newark, the weekend of the 18th has the most expensive flights.
The weekend after is like half the cost. Most other weekends are at like 1/3th the cost.
Maybe it will come down as it gets a bit closer.

Re: Search function on main page?
After the update, it appears there is no longer a search bar. This was helpful for finding old decklists, when/where cards were used, articles, etc. I tried a workaround by searching via google “site:” command but nothing worked. Can this come back? Are you looking at the desktop site or mobile sit...

I've been super busy packing my house, but

The "we have a main page?" garbage was never funny and I will "freak out" because I think it's rude and dismissive of what I and others are trying to do for the community. It's unnecessary and uncalled for.

Forced Servitude can also be good and is pulled by SIG(v).
If you're playing B2s, then There They Are can be good as well.

Re: Apologies
So, how do I link a thread/post? In multiple situations, but especially for rules threads, both on the site and internally to our discussion, we link to the particular thread. However, now they are all the same? There is a small note icon at the top of each post near the username. If you right clic...

FYI, the AR 3.0 appears to be down. This old link still works for me: https://www.starwarsccg.org/Resources/ar_version-3-0.pdf Thanks. Only, I can't access it if I navigate from the main page. I will try to fix it tomorrow, thanks for letting us know. This currently doesn't work because of how the ...

I had been navigating to starwarsccg.org/forum s , and apparently the new forum location is starwarsccg.org/forum (singular). This seems to have fixed my login issue, but this version of the forums has a longer loading time, has all this awful trim at the top and bottom, and when I go to post a rep...

Re: Apologies
any link that ends with "&sid=big long string of random letters and numbers" should not be used and usually won't work across devices. The "sid" is the session ID and is not permanent, so that is one explanation for why you may have to log in again.

Re: Apologies
I've never had login issues before today, but now I've been having issues all day. I got the "this site uses cookies" for the first time today as well, so I'm guessing it may be related? First, I was apparently logged out on my Chrome browser on both mobile (which does happen periodically) and desk...
