Re: Pod Complaining and Discussion Thread

Not complaining (yet) but instead speculating. Here is my list for group 2 aka the second best player in each pod, completely ignoring team affiliations and time zones: 3) Matt Harrison-Trainor 8) Drew Lichtenstein 10) Ryan Sersen 21) Casey Anis 40) Matt Scott 47) Chris Gogolen 54) Adam Trunzo 58) ...

Re: MOAGA (Make Old Allies Great Again!)

Try building the deck differently. I was having success with the deck just two months ago, before I took a break. Rather than POAS, which your opponent can run away from, 2x it's a hit would be more effective - they grab that or leadership. The bigger issue for the deck is ISB being such a bad match...

While on the D&D topic, I would recommend this podcast:

Which reminds me, have you ever heard this song by Nap Eyes? It always calls your screen name to mind:

Re: D&D Music

Just starting back up, actually. Teaching oldest. If there is a a remote (discord, eg) organized game I’d Swccg’ers I could join, that’d be great. Nice! I had a game going with friends two or three years ago (DM'ed by the musician I plugged above). Before that, I hadn't played in 15 years. It was a...

D&D Music

Any of you play D&D?

My good friend has been writing and producing music to accompany D&D sessions. It's very good stuff. Here's his bandcamp: https://boykingofidaho.bandcamp.com/releases

He also can be found on Patreon under the Boy King of Idaho.

Edit: Thanks in advance!

The more the merrier, there will be lots of games to cover. Yup. After I get pods up, I'll work on a coverage list. I'll do commentary. I'm not playing. Probably going to lean on you a bit Eric, if you don't mind. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to do commentary. Running 3 events at a time mig...

Re: Dumb Mistakes Made in Competitive Games

In the MPC I force drained thinking I satisfied Battle Order. Why did I think this? My opponent had a ship at my DS Coruscant (I was playing AOBS) where I had a ship but no Black Sun agent. I knew that I did not add an icon, because no agent, but I thought if he had a ship there, it added a LS icon....
