We'll double check on any other games affected and check with the players.

Re: The server crash games
Sorry for the delay, but we are close to canceling Casey and Wirfs' game so they can replay in the last few days of the month. We should have a quicker process in place if a similar server outage happens going forward.

Re: Blaster Deflection lost function not enabled
Yeah I ran into this one too and was sad. I'm also sad I haven't found the problem yet. It does seem to be a problem with Blaster Deflection, not the blaster or anything else.

Nice turnout and will played everyone! I unfortunately was struggling with fevers and couldn't debut my han's back profit deck.
Maybe next time!

Yeah there are a lot of factors. Last year was amazing too! We are trying to rotate time and location to accommodate as many people as possible. Sorry if it came off the wrong way, I probably should have added more to that post.

They do polls about the dates, and this year looks like it may be the most attended worlds in a long time.Walsetmd wrote:Since Oktoberfest is going to be the main draw, I assume and possibility of moving it to an earlier or later date is out.

I'm pretty sure a Chromebook will be fine. It's all browser based so mobile will work fine, other than screen size limitations.

If you use the tournament software, we have a test version we're testing for worlds. If you can use that and let us know how it works, that would be great! http://www.starwarsccg.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/tomtournytest/swccg-tourny/sos.html The main changes are adding the opponent sos tiebreaker and...

Re: The Bith Shuffle
Having played in the socal event in question, I think it was in the "sounds cooler than it is" category. Maybe if someone put together a bunch of preconstructed decks and you got a random one? Like cube without the draft.

Re: Strategy Discussion
If you're playing a generally all space vs all ground matchup (something like hunt down vs hidden base) you need to have a plan for that matchup. As hunt down this is why you usually need to run just a couple ships to eventually be able to probe systems and possibly maintain space presence for free ...

Re: I'm so * sick of seeing this * forum
Someone can make a user group to hide specific forums, like they did for forum games. I'm not sure what level of access you need to do it though - might be admins only. It would be pretty cool to be able to hide any forums you wanted but I don't know if that's possible.

Thanks for the correction - the client I use is sqlitebrowser 1.1 so I thought that corresponded to the sqlite version.

I think it fits the early game puck meta of him not really paying much attention and just going w/ the flow. More or less. The real reason I think was that I didn't have time to post the reason. If I had, the reason would have been that I wanted to see if/how other votes might move based on Hunter'...

I'm basically at the same point. I looked back at all of vhstapes posts and I really don't see anything other than a newb vanilla, like he claimed and like others agreed with (rhendon and hunter at least).

Vote: Apollyon I wish I was more confident on this. I'll look through tapes' posts and votes to see if anything jumps out. Why aren't you confident about it? Mostly what I said in my last post. I looked back over his posts -- there weren't a ton of them, but looking back they don't seem as scummy a...
