As far as untimed games, thats not realistic. Hayes and Twigg played a 5 hour match once. That is absurd and was the reason we have times. Yeah there needs to be a time limit, but 1:15 seems kinda short for a pressure-packed finals match. I'd say at least 1:30 per game, and if possible maybe set as...

is there a rule against murdering your opponent in the middle of the game? there doesn't need to be a rule to tell us that something this obvious is "cheating." I think one thing this thread proves is that there does. I agree it should be cheating, but cheating means breaking a rule, so if it's not...

The thing that I can't get past is the different slips to deliberately deceive opponents. This is blatant cheating. Which rule does it break? is there a rule against murdering your opponent in the middle of the game? there doesn't need to be a rule to tell us that something this obvious is "cheatin...

The thing that I can't get past is the different slips to deliberately deceive opponents. This is blatant cheating. Which rule does it break? If there's not a specific rule that it breaks, I definitely think there should be one. I don't know how restrictive it needs to be, but at a minimum I think ...

I'd totally scan these in at work too... the problem is I never really figured out what network drive the scanned PDFs go to, so for the longest time I've been asking one of the support staff to scan stuff for me and then e-mail me the results... that'd just be embarassing for SW decklists :-) Heh,...

There is also nothing in the tournament guideline about me stealing a card from your deck while you're not looking, and then causing you a game loss when I point out that you don't have 60 cards. This doesn't mean its not against the rules and in bad taste. I think we've all pretty much agreed it's...

So I don't know how you all play, but I feel that if I use Monnok, the burden of enforcement is on me. I take my opponents hand, remove doubles and then look through the rest of the hand to figure out what they have to work with. That's how I feel too, but it seems like if we put up a poll it would...

I also have access to a high speed scanner at work. If decklists were required to be typed, I could scan them in and have them uploaded in short order. I think. I could probably scan these at work too (on a weekend so I don't hold up people waiting to use it for real work). It's one of those multi-...

I'm a little late to the party (the party being both this thread and the game of SWCCG as a whole), but it seems to me that the simplest rule for things like this would be that the person who plays a card is responsible for ensuring that it is carried out properly. That would mean for Monnok, the pl...

Wow Game 5 is when the heavy weights started playing each other Shaw vs. Hunter M. French vs. Chu Desai vs. Pistone Game 1 actually had 4 of the final 8 playing each other (Garrett vs. Hunter and Raveling vs. Chu) We dropped the spies from WYS and played more smugglers As for WYS, I tried it in Day...
