I don't think you could get from the airport to the store in 15 minutes. I'd allow 30 for sure.

I don't think I could make a noon pickup, since I'll be driving down about 3.5 hours on Friday, and I can't do the 7:30pm either since I'll be in Day 1. It looks like Peter is already planning on taking #2 (2:21pm) from his post a few back in this thread, but I'm not sure if he has enough room. I th...

The closest is a Dairy Queen right across the street. There are a few other places a few blocks North (McDonald's would be the fastest of the food). There should be a Pizza Hut a couple blocks South, but not much else to the South.

I know this is late notice too, but if anyone is still looking for a ride from the airport to the store on Friday afternoon, I may be able to accommodate that. PM me with the time you'd need pick up and I'll see if it will work. I'll be playing in Day 1 so I need to be to the store probably by 4:30....

When are you you arriving? I live 45 minutes/50 miles from the store (Belle Plaine, MN) and will be driving back and forth Friday-Sunday. I wasn't planning on going to the Day 0 Cube event on Thursday, but if people were coming in Thursday, I could house 4 or 5. I am in contact with Michael Richard...

Yeah but it's the farthest east, thus closest to MN.

The nearest Black Angus is either Spokane or Albuquerque - it's a very West Coast chain. The nearest Olive Garden as the crow flies is about 3.5 miles NW in Brooklyn Center, and should be pretty easy to get to. There actually is an Applebees about 1.5 miles north on the same street as the shop, so t...

I think Chipotle has a slightly bigger presence than Qdoba in the Cities, although both are well represented. According to Google Maps there's a Chipotle about a mile west of the shop, but I haven't been there to verify if Google is right on this one. I think there are enough restaurants right by th...

I'd like to congratulate Tyler Vastag for his game play this weekend, and thank him for his friendship and conversation back and forth from TCC to Belle Plaine. I was also glad John Anderson came down and I was able to get to know him. John, you're a fun guy! Keep up the game play (and speed it up,...
