Re: Ello Asty - Where does he fit?
Is this card a real thing from a movie? And is it a play (if anybody knows) on the Beastie Boys album Hello Nasty?

Re: RE: Re: President Trump
Eh, make it a little more fun and say 2024 is Sarah Palin vs Cory Booker. Ugh, that's a dumpster fire only slightly less roaring than 2016. Maybe Booker will choose T-bone, or whatever he called the fictitious gang member when he was trying to sleaze some street cred, as his running mate. Palin can...

Re: RE: Re: President Trump
You are arguing for a gender test in order to determine eligibility (or perhaps fitness) for public office. Seems to me we had systems like that in the 18th and 19th centuries and most of us agree now those were bad. i'm going to use a gender test in how i vote, and you should too. i'm not saying m...

The New York Times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Haberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will “flip.” They use.... ....non-existent “sources...

Curious about something. If you see someone with the title: Financial Advisor, CUD. What do the letters stand for? I tried a bit of Google but no luck. With financial advisors, there are literally dozens of letters that can go after their name, as there are a bunch of courses, certifications, title...

maybe Hari, but maybe that was because her lawyer was influencing those bids in some way. or not really shopping it around. we don't know. it's possible that bc everyone thought hillary would win that they weren't interested, i can see that. The story referred to her manager, a Gina something, as b...

The reason it's a story is because he and the white house deny it. For the most part yea. This is a huge part of it. One of the most impressive ways I've ever seen a famous person handle a cheating / harassment scandal is David Letterman. He admitted it on his show the next day after it was blowing...

Re: RE: Re: President Trump
on some level, i think the reason it's a story is because it's tawdry and people like scandal. but putting that aside, the reason it SHOULD be a scandal is because it represents multiple crimes/violations of federal election law. the underlying crimes are extremely similar to watergate, and people ...

Can we break out an abortion thread in the off topic? It's been all that this thread has had to offer for days, and I care about it as an issue about as much as I feel the person the thread is named for does, basically nil. Lots of actual Trump stuff has been happening recently. Anybody watch, or (i...

I drink bourbon primarily, I don't think I even have a bottle of scotch currently. But the peaty stuff is what I would drink, Lagavulin or Laphroaig or the like.

Nobody actually thinks don would last 5 seconds against joe right? I guess I'll bite, it's a ridiculous premise in any case, but Don has the height and presumably reach advantage, youth on his side in terms of being a 4 year less old senior citizen. Don has the bone spurs that kept him out of Vietn...

Both of those links are broken for me so I didn't read them. But I've read a few stories about the mining of Facebook data that became the database Cambridge Analytica used to target voters in 2016. Nothing about Cambridge as a big data firm was a Russian issue previously, it's a firm that was run b...
