Re: Statement Regarding The European Championship
Well said Tamas, this decision has not been an easy one to make. While we understand this is a blow to our Community to lose its main event, everyones safely is paramount. Next year will be bigger and better if not for playing SWCCG again IRL, I think more for the social side where we all get to me...

Re: Preparing to Teach New Players - Suggestions Welcome
I admit I have not tried this method yet, but it looked very appealing and think it would be worth exploring at the least. https://forum.starwarsccg.org/viewtopic.php?f=332&t=69241 I second this, really helpful to explain especially with the walk through. Plus games last a bit shorter so more reps ...

Wow Jerry that is tough to handle especially if it came so sudden. Hope it will be manageable. Best of luck buddy!

Re: Rescue The Princess
i'm trying it with 12 card starting hand since drawing the interrupts is so essential to the flip, relying on the war room to \/ one of the generals and hopefully drawing the other one. it's tough but does seem better than my old echo base garrison speeder builds. You can use War Room to get Comm L...

Re: Are there a group of players that don't use virtual cards or Episode 1?
I always assumed it was called surgeon because of the deck manipulation mechanics (place card in Used pile, peek at force pile without reshuffling, peek at top X of reserve without reshuffling). Like you're a surgeon operating on your deck to get everything lined up precisely how you want it. And b...

Re: Set 13
Casey, I’m sure someone can do a better job/fill in the gaps, but essentially Gosse Z. is the lead/one of the lead designers on set 13. Jerry and Dan interviewed him. From the twitch stream, we were told that set 13 will primarily focus on the Solo movie and a few cards that may tweak the power lev...

Re: How to win at SWCCG
A few of the things that made me a better player, is reading about game technique and methods to win the game, not the separate battles (I used to focus a lot on early & mid game, only to lose in the end game). "Playing to win" by Sirlin is definitely recommended reading http://www.sirlin.net/ptw I ...

Re: Decklist Report: Justin Miyashiro's CCT Scum
Bumping this thread. So after Set 12, a global power +3 (Despair v) will help tremendously. Also, swap 1 Mara w/ lightsaber for Aurra with Gun, or just play 2 EPP mara and 2 EPP Aurra (who will each be immune to <4 once flipped)

Re: Hidden Base question
It just occurred to me that a light side SSA that worked with systems so that you could start Rendevous Point and Endor in a Hidden Base deck would almost certainly set up an explosive Hidden Base deck... Strike Planning, A New Secret Base, and Wokling as starting effects... 5/0 starting ratio... f...

Re: Playtesting Sample/Theme Decks
Can the euro Cloud city sample decks be used as well? Are you talking about the "Demo Deck - Base Build (LS)" listed above? They will not be removed from the sample decklists (as they are currently included in the sample decklists available on GEMP). I think he is talking about either this https://...

Re: SW:CCG Intro Game Materials
ping! just building this to try and teach my niece (7y). Going over the lists, I swapped out Sheckil for Sgt Merril, he seems to have more synergy with the DS troopers (and is a semi mirror of Edian). Not sure why we chose Leesub back when we created these? Any non-v suggestions to swap for her? Co...

I use KMC Perfect Fit and then double sleeve into Fantasy Flight Games sleeves or Ultra Pro, works perfect. The FFG are a bit wider, so easier to double sleeve in (less air pockets)
