2nd Round CONSOLATION BRACKET (ends 3/29/15 at Midnight EST):

#3 dorshe1 vs. #7 Timeofyouppi

The better seed picks which side of the force to play first. Both games do not have to be played in the same session, and decks can be switched between rounds. When you load decks in Holotable, the DS player loads first, in case the LS player wants to play HB and not give that information away by loading more cards than usual.

Count differential AND Lost Piles at the end of each game, and report them to me.

You have until midnight of Sunday March 29th to complete your match. Good Luck!

In a shocking turn of events I beat Joe with my LS by 24 (9 v 28 in LP).

Neither really. I had a good opening hand and applied a lot of early pressure. I had already dealt 6 damage to Joe's 0, had a solid space drain set up, and was threatening to do 7 more damage next turn. Joe may well have been able to win the game - but never by 24 so decided to concede. I don't really want to talk specifics as I may choose to play the same decks in the semis, but when you win game 1 in online match play by 20+ then there is really no reason that you should not progress (please note that this is not necessarily true of match play in a real tournament - but online you can choose your deck based on the outcome of your first game - I knew that Joe had to play a deck which could win by more than 24 and I chose a deck that I felt could deal enough damage to not lose by 24

).
