Worlds q&a

Post by AndrewK29 »

I figured I'd make this thread for anyone who has any questions about 2017 worlds. I have a question: how to i get a team tourney partner?

Teams are self-determined, so just ask around! :)

Many people show up with a teammate, but there are plenty who show up who need a teammate. They just need to ask around to find someone else who still needs a teammate.

As far as I know, I don't have a team mate, so I'd be available to lose some games together :P

Can you clarify which one you're referring to?

I think it is safe to say that any constructed event all weekend (except the consolation tournament on Sunday) will require decklists.

Team tourneys don't. But assuming waveman is correct, yes, all days of Worlds itself, including Day 1, require decklists.

Because you asked, we're going to make you fill out decklists for every event, even sealed events. Even if you don't play, we'll still make you fill out a decklist, you'll just have to make up a list.

Interesting. Last year Day 1 didn't require decklists. Day 2 was the first day they were required. I'm not an official, or even gonna be there for that matter. Just sayin'

To confirm, cam some explain how the deck checks work? Every card and the slip in front of it is checked right?
