We have sanctioned tournaments in Europe?

But he is right though, and you should be able to lend needed cards from within the Euro community

Stephan Allhoff has unfortunetely had to cancel and DDM is shaky (I would offer my place and jump in for DDM maybe).

So, we still accept pre-registrations till the end of the week! Then we do the pairings!

Maybe you should amend your first post, Chris. Otherwise ppl open the thread, look at the first post and believe the tourney is full.

So far I know there is still a spot open. Chris has updated the list quite regularly and I have not seen any new posts about other players joining. Of course this is not an official answer and you will have to wait for Chris to respond. It would be cool to have another US competitor at our event and I am sure Chris will also be happy with that. You do however mess up the seedings, if he has already made them but I consider that a minor inconvenience : )

Actually, that's exactly what we will do.

Joe, we are done with the bracket, but I can offer you my spot.
I am seeded at 2, so that would actually work pretty good imo.
I am actually good with just judging this. Tournaments with 30+ players need a fully committed organizer, especially since we never did this before.

Please let me know for sure that you will come and be kind enough to pre-register via paypal. We will post the bracket then.

Do the main MPC and the Consolation MPC count as one tournament and can decks be changed between the two tournaments ?

At the US MPC, they count as separate tournaments and you could switch decks. I did this in 2017; had decks for the main MPC specific to who I was playing. Then changed to something more fun that I was more familiar with. Went out round one of each event regardless
3rd place 2016 Virginia States; 3rd place 2017 Virginia States; Top 8 Euro MPC 2018; 5th place 2018 German Nationals; 5th Place 2018 Kashyyyk Regionals; 3rd place 2018 Massachusetts States; 2019 Massachusetts League Champion; 3rd place 2019 Nal Hutta Regionals

Yes, I also played in a couple of MPCs now and usually build something surprising against my first opponent (and potential second). In the consolation you should play whatever decks are good for you.

ok, so all matters concerning the viking longship has now been arranged. we have a car and a room. We've lost a few raid members along the way, but thats only natural for a norse invasion like this one. Im sure casper and the rest of the no shows are drinking happily in vahal already : )

I just wanted to say that I am looking forward to this immensely. Ive missed the last couple of events due to new kid, work etc. and I've really missed hanging out with this friendly lot IRL.

Cant wait to see you all.

hugs and kisses,

Toby

Guys. I Don’t know what to say. I’ve hurt my eye. Deep scract on my lense. Won’t heal for Saturday. I’m totally incapacitated. Can’t even start to tell you how sorry I am. Had been looking forward to this so much. Chris I’m so sorry to disappoint you and mess up the bracket even more. Should i somehow w heal up faster I will obviously be there.
Thing is, though, that even if the pain gets better (yesterday I couldn’t even open the good eye as intense pain would shoot through the bad eye when i tried to. Today I can.) swccg takes a lot of mental focus and well... looking. Maybe Not the best way to heal up a smashed eye.

Sorry TB, that stinks.

But now, the #2 & #3 seeds on my side of the bracket are out. That means IF I get past Stephan in round 1, I ONLY have to beat Jimmy and then play a lower seeded person to get into the final four!!!

I wonder if the same hitman is available for a trip to France....
