Didn't see anything that says we can't have two of the same teams.

I think that's always a rule. They may have forgotten to post it, IDK.

It's rule #2...

Rules:
1) Pick a team of at least three players. you have up to 100 points to spend. you take the best (highest finish) three placings on your team and add them up and that is your score. players who do not compete will be assigned a place of 1+n where n = number of attendants. lowest score wins.
2) post your team in thread. no editing. first team you post is the one you get. first one to post a team is the only one who gets that team
3) Anyone not listed: 60 points each.

Here is the final standings/point values (the day 1 finish, with the top 8 reordered according to day 2 finish, and ties--e.g. people 3/4, ordered according to their day 1 finish).

1) Tom Haid (Xanth)
2) Stephen Cellucci (NoLimit)
3) Pete Srodoski (kavanix44)
4) Reid Smith (3MW0J8)
5) Bryan Mischke (Bryan-Irish)
6) Keith Brown (darkjediknight11)
7) Chris Gogolen (gogolen)
8) Chris Wirfs (itcouldbewirfs)
9) Mike Kessling (Kessling)
10) Brian Fred (retwin316)
11) Jonathan Murray (Throdo)
12) Jeremy DiPaolo (jdipaolo1)
13) Joel Pittman (yakutsk)
14) Caleb Foth (agnos)
15) Jan Westergard (Ghosttrain)
16) Scott Lingrell (Advocate)
17) Frank Lam (frankles)
18) Brandon Bunn (branbunn)
19) Grady Hutchins (dx_37)
20) Philip Gladney (Pantherpike)
21) Jan Berueda (rhy-irish)
22) Brian Speight (marines28)
23) Bill Pittman (stimpy)
24) Vince Hutchins (Vince)

Looks to me like Bastian won with:
Death Star wrote:Haid, Mischke, Cellucci, Speight.
Total of 8 points (places 1,2,5).

Jimmy had the same team, but posted later (and minus Speight, whose score was dropped anyways).

yakutsk was close with Mischke, Cellucci, Pete Srodoski (13 points)

Congrats Bastian!

Thanks! "Pick 3 out of the top 4 players on offer, dont pick the only guy not on gemp" did the trick.
Picking 1,2,3 would have been possible (with 25 points to spare!), but luckily noone went for that. Grats to Pete for his very strong showing compared to his fantasy value.
