Will card shipments be combined with the online play weekend cards? Kill two birds with one stone... Although I can imagine keeping track of all this isn't easy.

combining shipments is the reason these cards take a little longer to get sent out...save the PC as much on shipping as possible.

The postal service is really cracking down on the rule that anything in a padded envelope be treated as a package ($3-3.50 instead of just .50-1.00), and I am not fond of the idea of just shipping these in a plain white envelope instead.

I managed to sneak a few through earlier this year, but lately they have been sending them back to me for additional postage.
Understandable. Maybe plastic loaders to put the slips in? Then you can use the plain white envelopes?

I think plastic loaders may work, but it’s best to tape them to the inside of the envelope in my opinion because the automatic mail sorters sometimes shoot the top loaders out of the envelope.

Agreed. This is standard operating procedure for eBay orders where shipping is cheap. Most consumers are willing to assume the risk for a cheaper card to save on shipping, though I do appreciate the care regarding the slips.

Appreciate that, thanks guys.

Some of you will also be very excited to hear that the 2017 pc donor foil slips are also going to be shipped out together with these.

I've tried this before (top loader in a letter size envelope) and the toploader jammed up their sorting machine, ripped the envelope open and the cards were lost. The envelope was delivered to me in a plastic bag with an apology note from the USPS.

Interesting. I feel like FedEx doesn't have this issue.

But my personal hatred of USPS might be involved, that's a long story.

I had this happen on more than 1 occasion myself, which is why i tend to avoid shipping this way. Its probably still < 1% of the time that it happens, but when it does it really sucks

The cards in a team bag with a hard sleeve inside of the bag works well and doesn't need a padded envelope.

Hi, were the promos for these ever sent out? FYI, I haven't been to any local tournaments and haven't ordered from the PC store in ages. If that's what it takes to tip the scales, please PM me and I'll gladly send you something to cover shipping.

Thanks and take care,

Hayus.
