I compiled all of the results from this thread, and here are the DS/LS splits if you group players by overall win count.

7+ W: 9-3 DS, 12-0 LS; 75.0% DS, 100.0% LS
6+ W: 32-12 DS, 37-7 LS; 72.7% DS, 84.1% LS
5+ W: 73-35 DS, 76-32 LS; 67.6% DS, 70.4% LS
4+ W: 107-63 DS, 104-68 LS; 62.9% DS, 60.5% LS
3+ W: 130-108 DS, 131-108 LS; 54.6% DS, 54.8% LS
2+ W: 136-122 DS, 134-124 LS; 52.7% DS, 51.9% LS
Overall: 136-136 DS, 136-136 LS; 50.0% DS, 50.0% LS

The win count to include players in a "tier" include byes, but the DS/LS splits do not count byes.

So wait, the PC held a world championship in Europe that by every account was a huge success, with record turnout, and both sides of the force were literally in perfect balance?

....Is there anywhere else to go from here? Or should the advocates just say "our work here is done" and ride off into the sunset?

Well I think this is a good direction, but you can see there is somewhat of an issue as you go up in win counts. LS scaled up significantly higher as the top players were factored in, where as DS scaled up more gradually. I think the gradual scale should probably be the more desired result rather than seeing 10% bumps. In just a quick observation without knowing the deck breakdown, when I analyze these numbers, it looks like DS has more balance in terms of performance between the player tiers and LS has large gaps between the player tiers. Basically the LS gets significantly more dangerous in better players hands while the DS gets better but not by wide margins.

Thanks!! Great work! that 50-50 is really funny. Euro Emperor was the chosen one to bring balance to the force!
