The Biggest Plays at Worlds

Post by The_Emp »

Hey guys curious on each persons thoughts were, even if you saw a limited amount of games, on what the biggest plays were? These are where stories and legends are made.

Smartest plays you witnessed?

Biggest beat down? biggest overflow?

Big risks taken that paid off?

Worst bad beat/luck?

Super excited and curious to hear about all the plays!

On-stream game 3, TRM (Casey) v. Map (Koen), LS plays Grimtaash played LOST (for the second use of it during the game, first time used), which send 3-4x FO troopers to the lost pile.

Seems like a hair tousle should go with that post.

Who's still there with Mischke who can handle it?

For those who didn't watch the stream and weren't there, can you expand on this?

in regards to bad luck I saw baroni draw like 4 1s in a row vs Bastian in the top 8 first round. and he drew them in several battles out of a TRM deck filled with 5s and 6s. it was horrible.

wow. ok missed that. so non v quam. damn. Somehow I like it, though. An oldschool card played by an ancient champ reborn to crush a young new school buck with a bright future in front of him. Theres some sort of poetic justice in that whole thing ; )

Bastian pulled the same trick on Kevin Jaap on day 2 of the European Championship this year. But Map often needs the Elis so badly that it has to take the risk.
