Big congrats to pmyers on an 11-1 finish! A new bar has been set for the month.

March Leaderboard: (as of 3/16 at 11:45 PT)

pmyers 11-1
CoffeePass 10-2
ketwol 6-1
allstarz97 5-1
Silverglen 5-1
rsersen 4-1
wcullen 4-1
zlorfik 3-1
ototoi 3-1

* Minimum 8 games with 2 losses or less, or 4 games with 1 loss or less

Hopefully one upside of most of us being on lockdown is that it'll be easier to find games during these last two weeks.

I think I may have cracked this list as of today ...

But maybe not, I could be forgetting a blowout defeat at the beginning of March, lol

Heh, well you did notch a great win over Joe. Here's to finishing the month on a high note!

On that note, as the day comes to an end:
March Leaderboard: (as of 3/17 at 00:00 PT)

pmyers 11-1
CoffeePass 10-2
ketwol 6-1
Silverglen 6-1
rsersen 5-1
allstarz97 5-1
zlorfik 3-1
ototoi 3-1
arebelspy 3-1

* Minimum 8 games with 2 losses or less, or 4 games with 1 loss or less
Silverglen and myself both pick up another win. Wayne takes his second loss and drops off (for now). As mentioned, Joe also drops to 3-1 (his Court against Jmwerner's HITCO)......but "fails upward" to still make his March leaderboard debut. :-D

mjturner is sitting at 3-0, and DTartagOne and Kimura are both 2-1. All in position to make the cut in the next update.

Hey, thanks for the update.

What do you mean by "finishing the month" though? Its only the middle of March. :???

You can play up to 12 games. Finishing the month in this context means getting all of those games in.

Oh, ok thanks.

I think I still have a few games left, at least with LS

I know everyone says LS is better, maybe I suck because that doesn't happen for me, lol

I look forward to finishing March positive, maybe

Yeah guess a lot of people got their LS games in quick...!? I seem to only be able to find LS games now, and I want to play me some DS games! :D

March Leaderboard: (as of 3/18 at 16:00 PT)

pmyers 11-1
CoffeePass 10-2
arebelspy 7-1
ketwol 6-1
rsersen 6-1
Silverglen 6-1
allstarz97 5-1
zlorfik 4-1
ototoi 3-1

I pick up another win (Court over Troop1023's TRM), as does Bastian. Joe rips off 3 straight to join the 6-1 traffic jam make that 4 straight to move to 7-1, as his Court just beat noreply's OA.

mjturner and TacoBill are both sitting at 3-0 and poised to make the board soon.

I know I started the month with 4 straight LS games, because I wasn't sure if v12 was going to drop in the middle of March, and if it did I wanted to save my DS games. Not sure if others followed a similar plan (which is obviously out the window since then), or just went for LS first because it's stronger.

March Leaderboard: (as of 3/20 at 20:00 PT)

pmyers 11-1
CoffeePass 10-2
rsersen 8-2
ketwol 7-1
arebelspy 7-1
Silverglen 7-1
zlorfik 5-1
allstarz97 5-1
TacoBill 4-1
ototoi 4-1
mjturner 4-0
Troop1023 3-1

* Minimum 8 games with 2 losses or less, or 4 games with 1 loss or less
I take a second loss against echobstrpr (TRM vs his Map), but going 5-0 with DS keeps me barely alive for now. A few of the x-1s also pick up more wins, leaving myself and CoffeePass on life support.

TacoBill, mjturner, and Troop make their leaderboard debuts.

With only 11 days left in the month, will probably raise the criteria to 6+ games and 0-1 losses after the weekend.

Makes sense. Given the quality of the X-1 players, it seems likely one of them runs the table.

(Eric up to 5-1 now.)

Just about a week left, so upping the cutoff to 6+ games with 0-1 losses.
March Leaderboard: (as of 3/23 at 15:30 PT)

pmyers 11-1
arebelspy 8-2***
Silverglen 8-1
ketwol 7-1
ototoi 7-1
allstarz97 5-1

* Minimum 6 games with 1 loss or less
***Joe's second loss was a timeout during a server crash last night. My understanding is that this game will be voided and he'll go back to 8-1 (and would still be above Silverglen in SOS). Will update once that happens.

I join CoffeePass at 10-2, but barring a miracle it won't be enough for either of us. Bastian also takes a second loss to drop off, as does TacoBill.

Just missing the cut are Troop1023 (4-1) and mjturner (4-0). Would expect them to reappear after another game or two.

March Leaderboard: (as of 3/25 at 14:30 PT)

pmyers 11-1 (44.35%)
arebelspy 9-1 (31.63%)
Silverglen 9-1 (18.18%)
ototoi 8-1 (37.63%)
ketwol 7-1 (51.11%)
allstarz97 7-1 (41.18%)
mjturner 6-0 (48.08%)
Troop1023 5-1 (40.32%)

* Minimum 6 games with 1 loss or less
Joe moves to 9-1 with his TRM over Kimura's ASM. Still waiting for his second loss to be voided, so SOS will change slightly.

Eric's ISB beats Brentson's OA (highlights include a sick chain of 3 Tramples in a row). Desai picks up a couple more wins, including AOBS over Yoshi's No Idea. Turner and Kessling make it back on the board at 6-0 and 5-1, respectively.

Turner and Quirin look like they have the inside tracks right now, assuming they win out (and Mike can afford to drop a game if his SOS stays in the ~48% range). But still a lot of Star Wars left to play. Should be a fun race to watch.

EDIT: Silverglen moves up to 9-1 after a great game against adamtrunzo (IE vs Legend).

Tom Damen ran it up to 6-0, then took his first loss. At the same time Mike Turner, the other 6-0, took a loss.

Looks like no 12-0 finish for anyone this month.

The field cleared quite a bit today. Had our first elimination match between ototoi and silverglen, and Justin takes his second loss to drop off.

In addition, Quirin, Mike Turner, and Mike Kessling all took their second losses.

Desai wins a couple more to move up to 9-1, and Tom is making a late run, now up to 7-1.
March Leaderboard: (as of 3/28 at 02:30 PT)

pmyers 11-1 (45.16%)
arebelspy 10-1 (31.86%)
ototoi 9-1 (43.75%)
allstarz97 9-1 (41.90%)
tge_damen 7-1 (49.23%)

* Minimum 6 games with 1 loss or less
Only three days and change left to go, looking forward to an exciting finish. :-D

I jumped up to 9-2, but either Eric, Justin or Joe should definately finish 11-1, so I should be out for this month.

Looks like Desai and PMyers, unless Eric jumps above one of them with an SOS boost from his last game.

Scoreboard:
allstarz97 11-1 (44.62%)
pmyers 11-1 (43.70%)
ototoi 10-1 (42.28%)

With 5.5 hours left, Eric has jumped Paul and is holding onto a 0.12% advantage right now.
allstarz97 11-1 (44.85%)
ototoi 11-1 (43.38%)
pmyers 11-1 (43.26%)
That margin is narrow enough that it can swing on any given game. So if either of these guys had opponents who are still playing today, those would become the matchups to watch.

EDIT (12:30 PT) - since posting this an hour ago, Eric's SOS took a ding, and PMyers has jumped back on top, leading by 0.19%:
allstarz97 11-1 (44.85%)
pmyers 11-1 (43.26%)
ototoi 11-1 (43.07%)
Under 5 hours left.

Damn that is super close. 1.59% separating all of them. Things could shift any which way.

With a little under 2 hours left, Paul has widened his second place lead to 0.51%, and that should be safe barring any 11th hour miracles.

But crazier things have happened...

EDIT: I am the jinx, I'm so sorry Paul. Eweuge beats Sshaffer (Profit over ASM) and it's a much bigger swing than I expected:
allstarz97 11-1 44.85%
ototoi 11-1 43.17%
pmyers 11-1 42.96%
Although Eweuge still has another game left, if he plays it and loses, this could flip-flop one more time before it's over.
