Unfortunately you beat Mike Kessling who I have also played - not to mention that Bastian and Tom also lost today!!! On a day when I needed my opponents to go 5-0 they managed a pitiful 1-3 :(

Congratulations to Jarad: you went out with an early strong showing and we all enjoyed trying to chase you down :-D

Now that the month is officially done, I can take a deep breath and relax a little.

Thanks to Ryan & Paul for the congratulations recently in this thread, and to all those who congratulated me elsewhere.

Congrats to Tom for a perfect month - only the 8th time it's been done. Quite commendable!

Super tough break for Paul - either run it back with another month like February or go out and get 8-9 wins for the next 6 months. Rooting for you.

I will probably write a TR for my 12 games, so those that like TR's, look out for that.

Good luck to everyone in March!

I beat Silverglen (Justin) to move up to 8-0 and knock him off of the leaderboard.

Less than three days into March, but already a couple guys off to strong starts.

No surprise, it's the same two who also started February on fire. :-D
CoffeePass 6-1
gavino1983 4-1
stubbly 3-0
zlorfik 2-0
aeneas23 2-0
arebelspy 2-0
chriskelly 2-0

* Minimum 2 games and undefeated, or 5+ games and only one loss
Some big names on the board right now, and I suspect allstarz and Silverglen will be joining them shortly (both 1-0 right now). Should be another fun month to watch.

This first post each month seems to be a very effective guarantee that I will immediately notch my second loss. (As I just did vs. JustShy.)

I've found a really handy way of tracking how many games I have played with each side. So far this month I am 2-4 - which means that I have played 2 LS games and 4 DS games :lol: :?? :roll:

I have no facts to support this but it just feels like the most open OCS series yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're inferring that this may be a rare month where 10-2 gets it done...
In light of that, setting the bar at:
1) 4+ games played, <= 1 loss, -OR-
2) 10+ games played, <= 2 losses

March OCS Scoreboard
CoffeePass 10-2

stubbly 8-2

wirfs 4-1
allstarz97 4-1
Silverglen 4-1

zlorfik 3-1
Steviegets 3-1
Sagnet 3-1
sshaffer 3-1

I much preferred it when I just thought I was out of it at 10-2 as opposed to this new inevitability where I still am out of it in reality but have an illusion of still being in it right up until the end of the month.
