Schedule & Rules

Post by Yoda007 »

Hey!

I'll post the round schedules here.

1. I broke one of the rules, and the players who were waiting for adoption were added as teams to the event. Didn't want to let anyone out if they wanted to play. However, please, bear in mind that this event is officially set in CET timezone, so, you might need to play early/late. I hope we won't have any issues with it.

2. Please, save each link to the games, and upload them as a comment to the excel on google i'll provide with the schedule. This will help keeping the games clean, and make sure our streamers can replay them, if they found an interesting matchup.

3. In the swiss round you play match-plays against your opponent - 2 games. So count your lost pile and reserve deck. The winner of the matchup gets 1 point.

4. We're running these formats un-enforced on GEMP, so it's all up to us to honor the rules. In case, accidentelly, there is an illegal card in your deck - you lose that game. FW +30 to the opponent, and the lost piles you have currently. If you won your first game by more than 29... it's FW 60 for your opponent. This is rule is not here creating a loophole. We'll use the game links as proof.

5. I know life is busy even now, so each team has an option to sub 1 player once. It must follow the guidelines - eg. 2 nationalities, 2 players from EU.

6. If your team total drops below the starting number, you may continue to play at the event, and earn points. However, your team forfeits the games where they don't have a player.

7. There'll be an event on gemp, it will not enforce any of the limitations, so check your decks twice. Spectators will be allowed, but they cannot chat to players, as you saw in the OCS.

And last but not least, please, be friendly :)

So, basically I have to make an appointment with my opponent (good old Jimmy), we both select Jawa on Gemp and play, right?
No need to click on any "EC format"?

we'll have a Corona Cup 2020 format - so no spectators can talk to you during the game.

end after the game i'll need the link to the game.

When will the Corona Cup format be available on Gemp?
Do I have to join a "corona cup league" or something to access that?

if everything goes according to my plans it'll be available from 1st October, and you'll see it as you'd see OCS.

Are you going to gather and circulate email addresses so we can communicate with opponent?

MHT wins game 1 by 29, Fox conceded the match.

We don't have edit access to the Excel spreadsheet, here's the replay: https://gemp.starwarsccg.org/gemp-swccg ... mnjpvf9so3.

Hey Matt! You can't edit on purpose. But you must be able to add a comment. I didn't want anyone to edit the matchup parts.

Can we wait with posting of games until after the tournament? May be some people don't want to switch decks and thus don't want many others to see their games
