Volunteers

Post by rhendon »

If you want to volunteer to help do coverage, please post in this thread what days and what times you are available to do so.

If we have enough people, we might be able to stream multiple games again, if that is something people enjoyed.

If your choice is playing or coverage, please play. We should be able to get enough commentators to help out. I want this event to set records and for those that don't like me, the more people playing, the more headaches and exhaustion I will have from doing all of this.

I am away that weekend so unfortunately I can't help out with commentary. I spoke with some other Dutch players and they might be interested in doing commentary.

Want me to order a Texas Shaped trophy like in the past? They run about $75.

I was thinking of doing that for first. Hadn't decided on trophies yet though but I'll let you know.

I'll do commentary (would be happy to team up and do it with someone else, but can also fly solo).

Although my contribution is probably less insightful than Joe’s, I will also be free to commentate when my pod is not playing.

I've heard some of your commentary, and I can't say I agree; I think any streaming you do would be awesome!

The more the merrier, there will be lots of games to cover. Image

Yup.

After I get pods up, I'll work on a coverage list.

Probably going to lean on you a bit Eric, if you don't mind. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to do commentary. Running 3 events at a time might take me away from being able to do play by play.

I'll likely need a main group that can be jumped in and out of all day. I'll be in that as well and participate when I can. Then depending on # of games and people able to do commentary, I'll make a list and we can jump around to different games. My thinking is having 2 or 3 games streamed. I don't think we'll need as many as MPC because of the way it is broken up to be more spread out.

Sounds good. Right now I'm generally available, unless a work thing comes up. Let me know if or how I can be of help in planning this.

My time zone is a 12 hour difference, so I was thinking I could stream the first game or two of the early morning pod and then possibly the one evening pod I am not playing in (assuming I am in one of the evening pods).

My video streaming isn't the best, but I could probably do audio commentary, either solo or partnered up.

If we dont get more than 40-50 people signed up for this, I would suggest trying to limit those doing commentary to people not playing in the event.

I would imagine Dan or I will use discord to do the video chats/voice chats and one of us will have the OBS software up.

I need to see how many sign up though and see how many pods there will be and on average how many games. We could go from 1 or 2 games streamed to 4 games streamed in a hurry.
