Gemp Playtesting Recruitment
Posted: November 3rd, 2019, 6:40 am
Some of you may have recently seen tables on Gemp with the "Playtesting" format label and/or more user names preceded by the β symbol. It's true. We now have the capability to test new cards, still in development, on Gemp. It's really a huge boon to the process on multiple levels:
► Playtesters have a much easier time building decks, finding games, and reporting results
► Gemp Developers benefit from an "extra" level of QA
► And D&D is provided with more detailed results (via replay links)
With this new development, and given the time constraints for the upcoming set, there is an immediate need for active testers. I'm looking for people who generally spend 5 or 6 hours (or more) on Gemp in a given week - playing, observing, or even just sitting in the lobby. If this is you, you probably have time for a test game or two per week. The trick is having enough "available" testers on at the same time so you don't need luck into finding a partner. Don't worry if you're not a great deck builder - list sharing is extremely easy!
If you're interesting in volunteering, please send me a PM.
