Yeah, stuff like this was really cool. It's the kind of thing that should be common knowledge on the level of Mark Rosewater's "Timmy, Johnny, Spike" design philosophy.

After I interviewed him at the Endor Grand Prix a couple of years ago, me, him, and Doug Taylor went for drinks. We had some great off the record discussions about game design and old Decipher stories.
