C'mon, Jonny Chu. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Desai or Gemme win it, either.

Tom "WiseMarsellus" Hollingworth all the way :). I played him on his first couple of games back into the scene about 18 months ago... I beat him in those quite easily but he got a LOT better very quickly :). He's a top player and a good sport (even if he does always play a npe LS senate!), I hope to see a totally new player break into the upper ranks.

Mike Gemme -

Unnoffical results of the Brad Eier contest:

winner: Lee Edwards who picked Me, Chu, Desai and with a 1/2/4 finish, cannot be beat in the fantasy contest, as hunter was worth 50 and justin/chu were worth near 50.

laaaaater
Lee "Terron" Edwards - ... Who? Sorry, that name doesn't really ring a bell. Is he supposed to be somebody important?

I don't care who wins, as long as they win with NPE garbage that justifies everything I've ever said was wrong with this game.

Players/Decks most likely to prove me right: Hunter's SYCFA; Hollingworth's LS Senate; Chu's HBX.

Player most likely to not live up to trash talking: Do I really have to be specific here, or does the mere suggestion immediately call to mind only one name of eight?

yah, that angelo consoli really needs to lay off the trash talk.

Actually, the first game of round 1 just started.

Chu, Hunter, and Gemme chose DS. Desai chose LS.

At a quick glance, Chu and Desai seem to be winning. The other games are too close to tell.

Tom and Chu both won the first games. The other 2 are still on the first game. Angelo has seemed to even it up, and it seems Fred might have a slight advantage.

I didn't want to post anything about decks yet, as to not encourage scouting. When they start the 2nd round I'll post people's decks I guess.
