Why the Day 1 isn't in MPC-Format too, so the non-qualified have the chance to participate in such a tournament-form, too ?

You need an exact amount of players (8, 16, 32, etc) to make it a MPC, and that would prevent some people to play. So it will be a regular 6 game tourney, which should be cool, too.

How close is this place to Munich?

I can always figure out how to get a business trip to Munich and stay the weekend before coming back, if it is relatively close.

Can someone post the details?

If I can make it I would gladly take whatever last spot is available. I am more interested in just playing, and meeting the European players.

It is 240 Miles (3 hours), but the connection should be okay.
Either we can find you a train, or some-one coming from near Munich
can pick you up somewhere.

You bet! We do live up the hill from the town itself, and about five minutes drive from the Snoqualmie Falls and Salish Lodge which were featured in Twin Peaks.

I will shoot you a PM. Would love to have you come over when you are here.

I will work on my fall international trip schedule and see what it looks like to be able to make the European event.

There are still some, that I miss and some I will miss on the 18th...
however, today is the last day you can preregistrate. today until midnight MEZ/MET (mitteleuropäische Zeit, mideuropean time)

you have to pay before arrivial to your flight leader... (only for day 2)
since it's yourself, you don't have to care about that
