Considering there were TEN (10!) TTO decks, 13 people playing the same starting site for LS Mains shouldn't be that surprising.

pretty amusing.

That sounds like more of a problem than TRM to me.

my guess on day 2 was the decks starting endor ops (that includes tto) was 1/3 of the field. looks like they were 19/53 = 35.8%

on the other hand out of 52 ls (not sure why the amount of ls and ds are different, maybe i miscounted one of them but i'm too lazy to double check) the most popular (trm) was only 13/52 = 25%. and even that had two different starts, as endor ops did.

they had about the same # of decktypes though, since ds had to do some random goof stuff like the last half dozen decks listed (ls had 19 different decktypes counting both trm starts as the same, ds had 21 if you count the tto/eops as different and the hd v ground and hd v space as different, etc)

fyi, this argument has always been, and will continue to always be..........a joke.

People play the best decks available. There will always be a 'best deck' or a top 2 or 3 for each side. Plus, people are sheep. They see what the top players use and lo and behold more and more of those decks start to crop up at events.

The only thing that REALLY matters is when you start to see disparities in winning percentages. Once I get the Day 2 results up this week you'll have more meaningful data.

note - pretty sure schele is aware of all of this, this post was speaking more in general terms. An abundance of a card often means that a card is good. Good cards are fine. It's when good cards do not lose where we have a problem.

Obviously I was being facetious and mocking the people who were going to start claiming TRM is a problem due to 13 people playing it.

Of course you must be kidding.

People only play Endor Ops because of the icon distribution, and you almost get a free effect because of the Endor Bunker game text. It's one of the only options dark has for objectives since half of them are completely unplayable.

I really hope you're joking.

funny story, desai played against literally ONE non-eops objective all weekend. all 4 games on day 2 were against eops or tto, and day 3 he played against eops, eops, and then watto.

Hmmm, I know I played against Wyatt Fox's WHT(v) in my 3rd game. That needs to be added.

Honestly, it's hard to tell sometimes. I remember our discussion where you thought getting rid of EPP Maul and Blizzard 4 wouldn't hurt dark side very much. In hindsight I can't tell if you were joking then or not. It didn't seem like you were.
