I've gambled on SWCCG anyway. I win most of the time, but not always, so anyone really good would still probably win. Especially if I'm drunk and it's the top half of day 3 from this years worlds. Actually if I'm drunk pretty much anyone who even plays.

...as opposed to the bottom half of day 3 that consisted of jonny chu, aaron nelson, matt sokol, and joe olsen that you would have a major advantage against?

Yeah, I always seemed to have good match-ups against Joe Olson back in Washington State. I wouldn't have said anything normally, but I've only lost 1 game to Joe Olson out of about 24-32 games some of which were for playtesting. 1-1 against jonny chu, never played against sokol or nelson but I'm 1-0 against Brian Hunter and 1-1 against Brandon Schele. Joe's a Washington player, I was the first player to go to worlds off of winning a Washington State title. I'll just stop there, no one probably cares that much, but I can win my share of games. We missed you at worlds this year. Who are you?

should be just about as expensive as european worlds, right? plus no need to get a passport.

btw they have cruises out of seattle that go up the alaska coast, that's what we're talking about here, right?

Sorry Justin....Mr. Second Place will always be Steven Lewis. You may have more runner up finishes......but he was the first dubbed with the title.
(Tournaments I was at personally......)
DecipherCon 99 Lost Final Duel to Gary Carmen
GenCon00 (Nationals) Lost Final Duel to Yannick

So, in my mind....that makes you Mr Runner up to Mr. Second Place. :)

I seem to remember two European SW players going on a cruise together and having a 'tournament'...maybe we should ask them for tips.

so justin really IS mr second place

also lewis was mr 2nd place back in the day, but i dont think he can claim it anymore, esp. with 2 different people holding 2 2nd place worlds trophies (i.e. worlds 2nd place .. twice)

Hi guys,

we did the Antarctica championship ;o) with actually 3 players on a cruise. If you guys need any information about cruises and stuff, you can always mail me.
Planning ahead, we will definitely do the Star Wars Carribean championship in early (February/March) 2011. Every-one who knows me... I kid you not!! ;o)

Working on the plan next year, but we'll do it in 2011 to give everybody enough time. 0X

Cheers
