so basically one question:
is there a qdoba within reasonable distance of the gaming store?

I don't see too many of them around Minneapolis...

a quick search on google maps shows that the closest one is about 5 miles away.

There's a Dairy Queen, a bar/pub food type place, and two chinese places within a block of the card shop tho'.

LOL, I just had my first qdoba ever yesterday. I guess it is a Colorado thing, not Washington.

qdoba is basically the best food ever. And its very much a Colorado thing. Qdoba, Chipotle and Illegal Petes all started here... and hmmm sooo good.

Petes is miles ahead of the others though, Mark seems borderline obsessed with the qdub....

I think Chipotle has a slightly bigger presence than Qdoba in the Cities, although both are well represented. According to Google Maps there's a Chipotle about a mile west of the shop, but I haven't been there to verify if Google is right on this one.

I think there are enough restaurants right by the shop. A Dairy Queen is literally right across the street, and Buffalo Wild Wings is close. McDonald's is close too, along with a couple buffet places and a few others.

But all I've ever needed is Snickers and they sell those in the shop! :D

i checked on mapquest i think, they said there's no Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Applebees, or Black Angus around there, is that right?

The nearest Black Angus is either Spokane or Albuquerque - it's a very West Coast chain.

The nearest Olive Garden as the crow flies is about 3.5 miles NW in Brooklyn Center, and should be pretty easy to get to.

There actually is an Applebees about 1.5 miles north on the same street as the shop, so that's definitely easy to find. It's up the same way as Wild Wings, just a bit farther north, but not past the Interstate (694). Depending on how you get to the shop you may drive right past it.

The closest Red Lobster is about 4 miles SE in Roseville, by a big shopping center which also has an Olive Garden nearby (and lots of other similar style restaurants). If you wanted a place with a bunch of "family restaurants" to choose from, Roseville would be a good choice that's pretty close.

There will be a lot of MN people there to either direct you where you need to go, and hey we'll need to eat too!

i just asked b/c those specifically i can get gift certificates to through my best western rewards points.

there is a spokane in minnesota? spokane washington is like the 4th largest city in the state.

Yeah but it's the farthest east, thus closest to MN.

Wow, someone says Black Angus and all I can think of is a brothel in Puerto Rico. No pun intended, but definitely NOT a place to eat. I'd like to thank the U.S. Navy for that...
