I could probably scan these at work too (on a weekend so I don't hold up people waiting to use it for real work). It's one of those multi-function devices that has a paper feeder where you can put a stack of paper, it sucks them in and scans to PDF (and e-mails it to you). Honestly if I had my hands on the decklists (and was standing in front of the scanner) I could probably get them into a PDF within 15 minutes. The only hangup could be if people used notebook paper (Tyler) or the lists were mangled in some way, but I could pick those out and scan them manually. However I was there and the lists looked like they were in pretty good shape. Let me know if you want me to help get these scanned.

I'd totally scan these in at work too... the problem is I never really figured out what network drive the scanned PDFs go to, so for the longest time I've been asking one of the support staff to scan stuff for me and then e-mail me the results... that'd just be embarassing for SW decklists :-)

Heh, lucky for me our scanners can natively e-mail right from the scanner, no intermediate network location.

the conclusion i'm drawing from this thread is that the best way to get volunteers is to state that something just won't be done.

i don't have a date for that yet though, it'll be scheduled about a month before it actually happens.

Worlds 2010 will be held in antarctica, and decklists from worlds 08 will be available same time....

Yeah, sadly the first set of big envelopes I got were not big enough, so I had to go get more, and then I have to find the time to get to the post office, cause I don't know how many stamps it will take to mail approx 200 sheets of paper.

However they will go out tomorrow, assuming no freak snowstorm or something.
