I just opened the "random" rares that the PC sent as prize support. These cards are good. The top 4-5 people are gonna make back their entry fee just on 1 prize support card alone, and one person's in for a very special treat...

Also, a favor to ask. If anyone coming has a spare dark side deck that they could lend to a returning player, it would be greatly appreciated. PM me if you can help.

For anyone driving (from the store website)

Parking

There is some on-street, metered parking directly in front of
Pandemonium on Pleasant St., and two metered lots nearby (one next to
the store, one at Green and Pleasant St.). These lots can fill solidly,
but do occasionally have parking. There is also metered parking on
Bishop Allen Drive, which runs parallel to Mass Ave. to the east, and
customers report finding available parking.

Public, Less Expensive, a few minutes away

The Green Street Garage is located at the intersection of Green St. and Pearl St. (http://www.cambridgema.gov/traffic/OffStreetParking.cfm). Pandemonium is a 5-7 minute walk up Green St., turning left on Pleasant St. ($1/hr, $10 max, $5 flat night rate).

Private, More Expensive, a few seconds away

There is a pay lot approximately 1/2 block away from the store, behind the Cambridge YMCA (http://www.pilgrimparking.com/facilitie ... /index.php).
Follow the driving directions of your choice to Pandemonium, and
continue past it to Green St. Turn right on Green, and the parking lot
is almost immediately to your left ($4/hr, $12 daily, night $4/hr, $7
max).

Private, Free, Limited Hours, a few minutes away

Free parking is available after 6pm on weekdays, and all day on
weekends, in the lot at Prospect St. and Bishop Allen Drive, one block
east of Massachusetts Ave and Prospect St (the heart of Central Square).
After parking, walk west to Mass Ave., and north one block to Pleasant
St.

All decks, including the extra DS I have are ready! Also, Sean won't be able to make it, dunno if you had included him in the 18 count you had. The tournament starts at 12, should we aim to be there by 11:30?

On another note, I will be bringing a few extra binders too if anyone is interesting in trading. Not saying everything in them is definately tradable, but atleast half is fairly negotiable, esspecially if I have doubles.

I was not including Sean in my 18 count, but I was including me. Unfortunately, I've been running a fever since yesterday and feeling pretty crappy so I'm not gonna be up to playing cards today. I'll be at the store around 11:30 to drop off the command cards/prize support/and the LS deck I'm lending Daniel, but I'm not gonna be able to hang around. (Congrats Baroni, you might win now).

I know the event starts in an hour so it's unlikely many people will see this but Michael Pistone has stepped up and graciously agreed to TD in my absence.

Had a great time! Thank you Michael for stepping in for Casey. Worchester folks, keep me informed! I'll keep checking the forums for a solid date soon.

How did it go? Who was there? What were the results? Who won? What decks were being played?

I am curious.

Pistone and Brian Twigg were co-champs at 5-1 each. Mike has the full results and said he'd try to post them soon. There were 12 players.

I won a total of 1 and a half games. After seeing what I saw , I made the needed adjustments after to compete better next time, whenever that is. 6 years out of the virtual stuff was more difficult than I thought. Seeing the cards in action was sooo different than reading about it... Match ups were:
I played Communing with apparently no tech in it... and Tattooine/Desert Landing with CP (v) with useless Maul and Vader. Space was great though.

Monkey Ties non (v)
EV9D9 power droid NPE deck. I'll give the builder credit though, something different. Good conversation, bad game.
Walkers, blow up the Shield Generators 3rd turn with Vader . Veers (v) is so wrong.

WYS (v) General Solo (v) and Chewie (v) , sick mains and sticks
Infiltration
Liberation

I lost against that deck too in the tournament. I thought I had it with my Hidden Base objective by the fourth turn, but he had Bane Malar present and prevented me from cancelling his force drains.
