Last minute ask (didn't realize proxies weren't allowed). I'm in need of the following:

It is The Future You See
Inconsequential Barriers
Thrown Back

More than happy to pay if anyone has them. Thanks!

We had 11 people show up. Pistone and I both finished 5-1. I conceded the final because I had to catch a train (and we'd also just split games in games 5 and 6). Congrats to 2013 Rhode Island State Champion Michael Pistone!

Ill post the full results with SoS later (just finished compiling SoS on the train) but the top 4 were

1. Mike Pistone 5-1
2. Casey Anis 5-1
3. Andy Klema 4-2
4. Matt Paragano 4-2

Casey has been on a tear lately. Nice job man. Congrats to Mike too.

Even on four hours of sleep and with borrowed decks that I knew nothing about, I had tons of fun. And I believe somehow came in 6th. I can't even remember who all 6 of my opponents were. This is what happens when I play tournaments on four hours of sleep.

Edit: I remembered who my sixth opponent was. However, now after looking online at some singles, I'm asking myself: Were there really Qui-Gon with Lightsaber and Darth Maul with Lightsaber foils among the prizes? I feel like there were, and like they got picked after I had a pick, and it is because of that belief that I'm really kicking myself for taking the stuff I did.

There were EPP Maul and EPP Qui foils as prizes. I took the Maul as the 1st pick, so that definitely wasn't around when you were picking, but I think the Qui-Gon may have slid a few spots, not sure. There was a lot of good stuff. I remember thinking that the All Wings combo was like the 5th most desirable card in the prize pool.

Somehow I missed those too. Oh well, I still had a great time and was really glad to have such a strong turnout. Thanks Jeff again for putting together the tournament!

Full Results, in order

Michael Pistone 10 (8.8)
Casey Anis 10 (8.0)
Andy Klema 8 (7.6, 7.3 adjusted for tiebreak #2)
Matt Paragano 8 (7.6, 7.0 adjusted for tiebreak #2)
Micah Wall 6 (7.2)
Daniel Nichols 6 (6.8, 6.0 adjusted for tiebreak #3)
Stephen Wall 6 (6.8, 5.7 adjusted for tiebreak #3)
Jeff Damiano 6 (6.0, wins via tiebreak #10)
Robert Colichio 6 (6.0, loses via tiebreak #10)
Sean Gilmartin 4 (6.0)
Brad Mattes 2 (6.4)

I'm not sure what the exact PC standard is for strength of schedule, but I did the following.
1. Total victory points of players opponents
2. Anyone opponent with < 4 victory points counts as a 4 VP opponent (as do byes)
3. Drop the lowest opponent from the total
4. Divide by 5 to get the average VP of each person's opponents (raw SoS)

The tiebreaks worked as follows
1. Drop the next lowest opponent from each player and recalculate (repeating as necessary)
2. Add the 6th opponent back into the total
3. Remove the 4VP minimum for each player (counting byes as 0 VP)
4. Head to head
5. Strongest win
6. Worst loss (player with worst loss loses tiebreak)
7. Worst loss with 4VP minnimum removed
8. Record vs. common opponents
9. Raw SoS of opponents
10. SoS of opponents adjusted via tiebreak system

Yes, it took 10 damn tiebreaks to determine who what order Jeff and Rob finished in, so if you'd like to consider that one a tie, feel free to do so.

I'm pretty sure I've been the strongest critic of using SoS at any event besides Worlds Day 2.

I can understand the argument for it, but I don't really understand how differential isn't good enough to at least be the 10th best tiebreaker.

Jeff (and Casey) - Thanks again for running a great event. My brother and I had a blast. Looking forward to the next one.
