New Jersey States- Sunday July 28th

Due to time constraints, potential conflicts with other events, and the availability of the store, this event will be held on Sunday July 28th at The Gamer's Realm in Hamilton, NJ.

The store is open from noon to 6pm. For that reason, this event will be 4 games + Final Confrontation. The Final may need to be played elsewhere if the event runs long(and the two people in the finals choose to play it out)- we'll play that by ear.

Constructed tournament- SOS if 12 or more players, otherwise Differential will be used.

Entry fee is $10. Store credit, 1 bye to Worlds, and other random rares/foils will be given out as prizes.

Game 1 will start at 12:15pm SHARP, so plan accordingly. 9.1 V cards are legal for this event, so make sure you print those out from the Download section.

Post below if you plan on attending the event so I can make sure we have enough tables and chairs set aside.

I have a bunch of stuff already built w/ proxies as placeholders.

Let me know what you want to play and maybe Gogolen or Greg can help me fill in whatever I need in my other deck.

(I should be able to build mostly anything within 5 cards for each side.)

No one has ever played in three worlds finals so it has to be....

Actually i dug up Raphael and Michael Riboulet. They were excited about the Legacy event at Worlds and wanted to see how much the game has changed

I'll be coming. I won't be able to stay for the whole event, but I'll be losing horribly so I don't think that will be a huge issue :)

I'm gonna try to come but most likely will be 1-2 hours late. Id love to play a couple games (sanctioned or not) and willing to pay the entry anyways, but I realize late entries are probably not allowed. I'll come by regardless and see if anyone wants a pickup game, or just watch games if that's cool.

Good turnout yesterday- we had 12 players and 2 other guys stop by just to play some side games.

Barry Alperstein finished 4-0, and Mike D'amboise and Matt Schmaltz both went 3-1. Mike had the higher tie-breakers so he and Barry advanced to the Finals. They opted not to play and to visit the irish pub next door instead.

Barry is the NJ State Champion. Mike gets the bye, which he may or may not be using depending on a scheduling conflict with Worlds he is still clearing up.

Thanks to everyone for showing up, and look forward to seeing most of you again in 2 weeks.

Congrats to Barry, but the real winner is whoever picked up my huge stack of full color slips that I left behind (the ls decks are all garbage, sorry).
