Uncertain Is The Future vs. The Republic No Longer Functions

I do not know if I found a gemp bug or if I did not understand the rules correctly for this:

My understanding was the following:
If LS has the shield out, DS can still play Uncertain Is The Future to redraw their own hand, it just prevents LS from redrawing theirs.

In gemp, I played Uncertain Is The Future and it had no effect whatsoever if the shield was out. However, I do not see how the ability of removing cards from my opponent's hand is a requirement or target of UITF.

As you can see from devildogz link, it's a GEMP bug that has been reported before. A player should still be able to redraw their own hand, just not affect the opponent.

You were so close! The only thing you did wrong with the [img] tag was you had put line breaks before and after the image URL. If you edit your post to remove the line breaks (put everything on a single line) it will work.
