In regards to the MPC Day 2 Team Tournament, the situation arose that the winning team had one player with a bye and one player without. It was decided by the Tournament Committee that more byes would be better than fewer byes, so going forward if one member of the winning team of a team tournament has a bye, his teammate and both members of the second-place team will receive byes. If one member of the second-place team has a bye, a third bye will not be created.
