cooleo watches Stranger Things

Almost done with season 1. Might even be my #1 show of this year so far. Please tell me you're watching too!

It's definitely good. Like Stand By Me for nerds.

Now I need to go listen to Black Sabbath's Born Again.

Started and finished it last night. Truly amazing. Loved every episode; was like watching an eight hour movie that keeps getting better. Oh man do I love that 80s retro synth music, btw. Really hoping another season is around the corner!

Finished. Appropriately cheesy and totally endearing.

Nope, madly in love with it.

Even made a YouTube channel for it:

Since I somehow missed this thread and created another one about this great show, I will state for the record one more time here. As a Gen. Xer, this Netflix Original sent me back to my youth and kept me engrossed to the very end. I loved it for its nostalgia, top notch writing and directing, and taking the best of the 80s to create one great story...

I cannot recommend this show enough.

It has been several days since I watched this and I just want to say that I still think about this show daily because it was that good.

It was great, but I hope they don't make another season. Leave it at one damn good season so it doesn't get ruined! Probably not going to happen though...

I heard rumors that they already know what direction they will go if a second season gets picked up... I'm sure it'll happen.

I'm hesitant as well. The "If you liked X Y and Z, you will like this" lists were stuff that I am decidedly medium on (ET, Goonies, etc). None of that really grabbed me so I have my doubts about this.
