Might be rational, but having people unplug network switches to plug in their phone and taking a section of the office offline when there are outlets that aren't being used right next to it.

Also, who unplugs something to plug something else in when there is a perfectly good 4-5 outlets next to it.

And yes, I'm going to be now fixing this area up to make it to where people can't unplug it and actually have them drop a new power outlet right behind the server rack that people can't access.

I cringe when people celebrate may the 4th as star wars day. Like- may 25 is the perfect star wars day since thats when the movie came out, not a dumb pun ripped off from a newspaper article about margaret thatcher.

It irrationally annoys me when people say "Agents of the Black Sun." There's no "the"! The name of the criminal syndicate is Black Sun.

You'd say I work for the Washington Nationals, even if the name of the team has no the in it.

The name of the agency is Federal Bureau of Investigation, but you'd still call it "the FBI". It's being investigated by FBI is weird. You'd need to say "the FBI" or "FBI agents".... just like you'd say Black Sun agents.

Organizations often get that article, I don't think it's incorrect, I think you can update your opinion.

No, it would be like calling the FBI the Federal Bureau of THE Investigation. It definitely makes a difference because it sounds dumb, just like "Agents of THE Black Sun" does. The name of the card is Agents of Black Sun. Adding a word in there, common article or not, is not correct.

You just mean often as in "many organizations use it". The Washington Nationals use it, always. The FBI uses it, always.

So you'd say Agents of the FBI, not Agents of FBI. You'd say Agents of the Black Sun, not Agents of Black Sun.

The card is about Agents of Black Sun, but calling them agents of the black sun isn't incorrect.

I think lenny's pet peeve (and I agree with him if so) is that people refer to the card as Agents of the Black Sun (AOTBS). It is just AOBS. It's not like saying "Agents of the FBI" because there is no card called "Agents of FBI" to begin with.

I usually hear it as "aobs" or "black sun" or "agents".

But I can see how that would be slightly irritating (on the level of "ATM machine") if you asked what deck they're playing and someone said "agents of the black sun". That just seems so wordy compared to the first 3 I said, it seems rare to me. But maybe not, and I just don't remember.

Actually I think the bug MIGHT be fixed already (fingers crossed). There was a fix made almost a month ago and it hasn't been reported since. And it didn't come up during the MPC!

As far as "well sometimes you put a "the" in front of organizations," that's true for some organizations but certainly not all. Yes you can say "the CIA" or "the KGB," but not "the Mossad" or "the MI-6." And you might watch "the BBC," but you don't watch "the NBC" or "the CBS." Different organizations are different. In the novel Shadows of the Empire, Black Sun is never referred to with a "the." It's not a choice, it's wrong.

And even if it were a choice, there STILL wouldn't be a "the" on the card. ;-)

Different organizations are different. In the novel Shadows of the Empire, Black Sun is never referred to with a "the." It's not a choice, it's wrong.

There have been examples of other books referencing it as "the" Black Sun in Star Wars old canon and new canon.
