You can't just say "wife" every time you see the word "irrational."

I have worked in a restaurant for 13+ years....workers who do not wash their hands after they touch ANYTHING.

People who DO NOT signal on the highway.

Tailgating in a neighborhood (both eating food and the driving behind another vehicle).

People who do not admit fault.

People who don't push the trash down/inwards in the bathroom when it is sooooo easy to do with a paper towel.

People who walk on the left side of a hallway versus right. It is like a highway...me on the right, you on the left.

Women who order food so asininely or use their fingers to say words like "two or three". Bi!ch, I have ears AND they work, don't patronize me.

I think this may be cultural for all of SoCal, but we don't use miles at all because our traffic means mileage is hardly a factor. A 35 mile distance could equate to 20 minutes or 2 hours of driving depending on where and when you are going. If you tell me the number of miles to get someplace it just doesn't mean anything to me, and I'll always ask "yes, but HOW LONG does it take to get there."
Yea. I always do both. Miles doesn't mean much in Austin either.

People placing characters underneath a vehicle or starship to indicate that they are inside?

Here's one....I DESPISE when people weakly clear their throats constantly, as opposed to ridding themselves of their excess mucus with one boisterous cough. The wimpy coughs do NOTHING. Just do one loud throat clearing cough and be done with it. (There is a guy who "clears his throat" about every 3 minutes and I'm going to throw myself out of the window)

When talking about music, the person who only says the name "Dave", automatically assuming you know he's referring to The Dave Matthews Band, as though they are some legendary musical institution and an inseparable pop culture phenomenon.

The opposite of this really irks me lol. I'm pretty sure it's in the rules as ship goes on top, characters go underneath, and it makes sense from a "what you'd see at the location" perspective. If you were in a ship at a system, you'd see the other ships, not what pilots are in them.

There's someone I work with who will text someone using speech-to-text no matter the social setting. Could be in a meeting at work. Could be out to lunch and in the middle of conversation.... doesn't matter. She just stops in the middle and talks to the phone like "ok so make sure you get a ride home afterwards" or something.

People who type great big essays that tell me nothing about what they actually want done.

And then complain that I'm not helping them when I ask for specific details - even going as far as 'it's too long to type out'.

People posting rational pet peeves when requested to post irrational ones.

I know that shouldn't bother me so much, but it does.

I'll bring up one that's irrational...I don't like people obviously enjoying whatever they're listening to on their headphones. I don't want to see you smiling or laughing or miming along with lyrics. Keep it to yourself.

People who use the word "loose" instead of "lose".

No, your team did not "loose", unless you are describing their pants fell off, or they went out after the game and screwed everything in sight.

It's LOSE people, as in lost, didn't win, can't find, etc., not LOOSE as in not tight...

There was a trivia team in Hawaii called 'Did It All For The wookiee.' They won a lot before we started playing. Obviously our name was 'Wookiee Has 2 Es.'
