Like curved waves we part;

Only reason I think I could be wrong is "crushed". Other than that it fits amazingly well.

Hands on a clock also don't stop at the end of the day, and I think that's what the last line is implying.

I would say it's eyelashes. They're usually curved, they clash and then part each time you blink, and the dance stops at the end of the day when you sleep.

My thought for that was that they come back together at the end of the day and restart.

Okay, I see what you mean. I would just say that the hands don't actually "stop" or "restart." But obviously, some of the riddles do call for non-literal interpretations of things.

@TacoBill but they don't only meet at the end of the day (I assume you're thinking of midnight), they meet many times throughout the course of the day.

So on that note he might be talking about the golden ratio which is depicted as an ever turning spiral

"See what you'll discern" - some people think it holds the secrets of the universe or something
"but no pattern will you find" - it's an irrational number, no repeating pattern
"save a path that loves to turn" - yep

Golden Ratio seems to fit and is fairly relevant on pi day.

No, I looked at the riddle and had absolutely no clue. Then I saw your post and I'm like "Well that's gotta be it then". From my perspective I did 15% of the work.

But that's also what great teamwork is. The sum is greater than just adding the individual parts. 15% + 15% got us to 100% :lol:

This one shouldn't be too hard:

Stout and riddled along the way,
I stand aside and sleep all day,
'til a special cry comes to me,
and forth I call a hidden sea.
