I mean other than the fact that all surgeries come with a high risk for infection and to add that to a place where a lot of people are going to have an infection?

Plus they need hospital beds for the people with those infections.

I also don't think they put it off for those that absolutely needed it, but anyone that could wait was pushed back for the above reasons.

A weed store has literally 0 of those issues and is more like any other store. Plus some people use it for medical necessity, so it would be like closing a pharmacy. You can also still go buy tobacco and alcohol during these times. Why is weed different?

Our major hospital system (Shoutout UPMC) is currently removing the restriction because only 2% of the 5,500 beds were occupied with Covid patients.

Weed is different because it sounds more old man to complain about, but yes, tobacco/booze is for the birds as well. But yelling about that makes me sound more Mormon than old. And this is the old man thread!

I was just trying to help you direct the old man anger to a better place to be angry at. Like those young whippersnappers playing on your lawn.

Pabst Blue Ribbon and Pall Malls are uniquely old man. And thus they are exempt!

I used to be a night owl.

Now, I start getting ready for bed by 8:30pm and am asleep by 9 (earlier if I'm tired enough).

Work days, I wake up to my alarm just before 4am. Weekends, I can't sleep in past 6am.

Podcasts are what creative people born in November of 1987(I have data to support this exact month) do once they're too old to be successful in their preferred medium. It's essentially model trains or ham radio for millenials.

Sardines are cool. I prefer King Mackerel with bread, olive oil, Italian seasoning, some red pepper flakes, and some "fancy" cheese as a snack.

Also, another habit I do is I change CDs in my car. I have about 20ish CDs. Fun to do and reminds of the good ol' days.

You realize that Weezer's debut (self titled, referred to as "the blue album") is actually better than Pinkerton (which we all had to like because we had to be deep in our late teens and early 20s)
