No offense but that sounds like the perfect way to take would could be a 60-man event and turn it into like a 15-20 man one.

yeah you're probably right, I am probably the worst person to talk to in terms of consolation events, I'll defer to you on this one.

Well I did "win" the Sunday consolation last year. Hey it's not my fault that u never stick around to play on Sunday when u get eliminated on Saturday.

Yah i mean nothing would turn a Sunday event into a "Major" more than if the big name players who got eliminated would stick around and play in it - and play to win.

It's not about being a fanboy. A consolation event by it's very nature is going to include the least experienced, skilled, and/or prepared players. I am all of the above so to speak and I have no interest in thinking about playing two different formats of Star Wars cards during this event, and I would be surprised if many of those that know going in their day three will involve the consolation event feel otherwise. Now, to have the top eight switch formats for day two might be a cool idea.
