Friday Team event.

I'm interested in playing in the team event. Anyone still looking for a partner?

I haven't talked to Shaw/Gogs directly, but I assume it's going to be a standard Team event- 1 player LS, 1 player DS, etc.

MAYBE if there is like 16 or 32 or 8 teams it'd be elimination. otherwise it'll be swiss with no elimination.

not that what we decide on the internet really matters anyways. posted start time is 7pm, so the teams won't be there until 7:30. then we'll sit and discuss/argue about what the format SHOULD be. then regardless of whatever format was decided upon we'll play 3 games and everyone will leave for dinner

im interested in playing in the team event but am not sure what time it is going to be. I dont think i will be at the hotel until round 7 oclock.

If anyone knows what time the team event is going to be and if anyone still doesnt have a partner let me know

oh and i am in pod 2 just in case people dont want to play against someone from the same pod if they are using the same decks for both events.

We should do a bracketed team MPC event. Limit it to 32 teams, make people sign up early, seed the teams. Basically do it the way the MPC used to do things. People like to drop out of Friday events once they are out of contention anyways, this gives them a good reason to. Then only the teams who are still in the running have to stick it out while everyone else can just hang out and prepare for the main event. And wouldn't it be fun to have at least one event with pre-determined brackets? We could even do a fantasy Team contest!

Just think how awesome it would be to have a 64-person team event! That would be the most legit team event ever.

i like the format where kevbozzz's teammate, regardless of who that is, is not allowed to play with defensive shields
